– I get really annoyed when you slow down or stop to let someone in front of you in traffic, and they don’t wave to thank you .
– When people pushing trolleys or prams just stop suddenly in the middle of a shopping centre/aisle to talk to someone, with no way around them. Move out of the fecking way.
That’s all I can think of right now. I’m sure there is plenty more!

Many things, because I’m well on my way to being a crabby old woman(!) but the only thing I can think of right now is people using the word “oftentimes”. It’s not really used in the UK, I’ve only heard americans using it but WHY?! OFTEN IS DESCRIPTIVE ENOUGH ON IT’S OWN!
Oh also, tourists (particularly school groups of teenagers) gently drifting around London, clogging up the tube and getting in my way. I always feel bad in other cities when I think I might be getting in local peoples’ way!

When people are WRONG on the internet!
If I had an ounce less self control, I would spend my whole life on flame wars.

@cece_intheuk: The last time I was in London I kept dragging my mum and MIL out of the way because I was sure they’d get knocked over in tube stations!!!
My point is similar. I hate it when people don’t stand to one side on escalators. Usually happens in shopping centres but it drives me mad because everyone does it!!

@recapbee: I totally agree with you on those two. I have to add when you have people driving in the fast lane that shouldn’t be. They will be driving like 50mph in it when the speed limit is 65 and I have to pass them on the right. That really annoys me!

Ohhhh lots of things…
When grown adults misuse your, you’re, to, two, too, there, they’re, and their.
When people don’t use their turn signal.
When you’re at a red light and people on motorcycles have their music blaring so loud that I have to roll my windows up and turn my music up to even hear it.
The way people act in a store when there is a sale or a coupon. They act like crazed monkeys. Like, it’s just stuff. It’s fine.
When people just keep screaming “what?! What!?! Huh!? Can’t hear you!” When they are talking to someone in a dead zone. Hang up and call later, screaming at the person on the other line won’t do you a bit of good.
I can’t stand how most women hate how they look because of unrealistic standards. I don’t know why this bugs me so much other than the fact that I feel like women think I’m an alien for being happy with my body at a size 10. I wish all women could be happy how they look and love themselves no matter what. It’s a shame that a lot don’t because of our media.
I have a ton more but I’ll stop because I could be here all day, haha!

@recapbee: Ugh! I was only discussing this with a friend last week. I feel pissed when someone doesn’t acknowledge being let in – is it so hard to quickly raise a hand!

I’m the first to admit that I have many quirks but there is only one that is likely to send me to a padded room where nice people give me happy pills. And that’s when people empty the bin then don’t put another bin liner in the now empty bin. IT DRIVES ME ?#$%?#? INSANE!!! How hard is it to put a new bag in the bin?!?!? HOW HARD PEOPLE?!?!?!

I’ve been furniture shopping for the last few weeks, scouring antique malls and estate sales..
If I hear “chester drawers” one more time I am going to scream. Chest of drawers. I’ve also heard chesto drawers, chesta drawers, chessa drawers. Nevermind the spellings on Craig’s list. My favourite: chest o’drawers. Call it a bureau if it’s too difficult, just don’t try to spell it. *shakes head*
Whoever Chester Drawers is, I’d like to meet him.

Lying, cheating, putting on a false front, lying to themselves, denial.
I like the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and that’s often hard to come by.

Something that I find particularly annoying is when people will MAKE their OWN parking spaces in a parking lot. Instead of parking in one of the plentiful, farther-away spaces that are still available, some individuals truly seem to believe that they are entitled to CREATE an ENTIRELY NEW parking space or row of parking spaces that is closer (to the building they wish to visit) than the first legitimate, already-filled, marked parking spaces in the lot. I’ve seen people leave their vehicles in all sorts of places, including “fire lanes” marked by yellow curbs. I find this behavior particularly fascinating when it is a parking lot for a gym. You have come to obtain exercise, yet you cannot park in one of the many available at the back of the parking lot? Sigh …

Mine are mostly ‘health and safety’ related! Haha
-people who don’t wear a seatbelt and don’t ensure their children wear a seat belt (law over here), people who use a phone or txt while driving, people who wear headphones while driving.
-drivers who have road rage against cyclists. The argument that ‘they have more right on the roads because they pay ‘road tax’ (which for the record is a tax on emmissions).
-people who don’t put collars on their dogs and subsequently cannot walk them with a lead/leash.
-people who don’t pick up their dog poop.
-people who don’t control their kids in public places.
-people who are always trying to get ‘one up’ on anyone else.

People who smoke with their kids in the car, windows up.

@Laurenplusalex: Ugh, do people do that? O_O

I hate the slow walking people, who walk in the middle of everything, on their phone, I swear smart phones have ruined most things… (Though I do love my iPhone…)
