I’m pretty excited about giving FI’s parents their gifts. For Future Mother-In-Law we got her tickets to see one of her favourite jazz vocalists (with Future Father-In-Law, of course), along with a CD of a new act she’s probably never heard of, but I know she’ll dig (it’s a Christmas tradition, sort of–we try to buy her a new CD every year to introduce her to new things). For Future Father-In-Law we got him a new chainsaw. He’s been peeved by his old one, so I’m sure he’ll love it.

@UpstateCait: ETSY seller taraduff.  I put it on when it arrived (had to test it out) and couldn’t stop laughing at my reflection in the mirror!

I suck at Christmas and already gave DH his gift, LOL.  He was pretty excited!

Other than that, we got his sister a really nice digital picture frame she has been wanting, so I am excited to give it to her!

I got my bf a coat, and he’s been complaining about needing a new coat, and we even went shopping for one for him after I bought it (he decided if he found one he liked, he’d buy it, then take it back if someone else got him one – luckily he didn’t find anything he loved enough to buy).  I’m just hoping he actually likes it!  He also thought I was weird because I have bought my brother boxers for the last few years (he asked for them!) so I bought my bf some kind of as a joke…

I’m excited to give my sister her gifts. She had a medical issue that involved her hair thinning that’s recently back under control. I bought her a Chi, some dry shampoo, a shower cap and a little travel set of expensive shampoos. She’s going to be so excited.

I’m a dork and the present I’m most excited to give is to my 2 yr old daughter.  We got her a huge 3 ft Disney Princess castle dollhouse. She is obsessed with the princesses and I can’t wait to see her face!

I’m also pretty excited to give both sets of our parents the wedding albums I had made. I spent hours on them so I hope they like them. DH and I aren’t exchanging gifts this year, we spent all the money on our kid, lol. I don’t really want or need anything anyway.

I’m most excited to give my mom her gifts – I got her a couple of smaller things, but then I got her a digital camera and a Northface jacket.

@UpstateCait: My mom’s not at all tech-savy and she loves her Kindle. Thinks it’s the best thing ever (she’s a reading teacher, so it makes sense, I guess).

I’m really excited to give my mom her present. She loves dachshunds, so I got her this figurine (she collects them), a calendar, and a gift certificate for us to go out and get our nails done. I’m also excited for my sister to get her care package that my dad and I sent. I put in an iTunes gift card, bottle of Skinny Girl Margaritas, some candy, and oreo balls. It’ll be weird not celebrating with her, but I hope she likes her gift!

Definitely DH’s gift. I got him this iPod speaker that’s a little box, you hook it onto ANYTHING that’s hollow, and it turns it into a speaker. It’s so cool!! It’ll be great for him for work. I got one for myself too ๐Ÿ˜‰ I also got him a little nano to go with it so he doesn’t have to always use his iPhone. I’m going to put it all in a pizza box for him so he can use the box as a speaker, but I’m so looking forward to his face when he unwraps a pizza box, lol!!!

I also got my Brother-In-Law a first edition of the book Brewster’s Millions. It’s his favourite movie, and I stumbled across the book (circa 1890-something) at a booksale for $1.50. I had to buy it for him ๐Ÿ™‚

ETA – My mom called today and insisted she had to come over Thursday to give me a present because I had to have it before Christmas. I am completely confused. LOL!

I’m excited to give my brother the entire Scrubs series DVDs.  He used to own them, but when his gf of 12 years moved out, she took them.  We joke about it now (she’s actually one of my BMs!) but I know he wanted them.

I’m also excited to give my Dad a Big Bang Theory t-shirt that says,

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Penny

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Penny

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Penny

on it.  Hahaha – he’ll love it!

The item I’m most excited is for our family’s white elephant gift exchange. My family all loves the Big Bang Theory. I found a Howard bobble head. I have a feeling my Brother-In-Law will be fighting for this since he collects bobble heads:

It sounds stupid, but I got Fiance Green Bay Packers stock. When they announced they were selling stock to be “an owner of the Packers” Fiance went nuts and BEGGED me to get it for him. I told him I can’t afford it because I’m on medical leave from work and not getting paid. After several times of telling him that and a few tears later, he finally stopped begging….but I did get it for him and he’s going to be soooo excited! Now I just pray the certificate will get here in time!
