What are you getting them a gift for exactly? Paying for part of the wedding?

I bought my in-laws the same thing that I am giving my parents – a silver photo frame with our wedding date engraved at the bottom of the frame. I’m putting in two different photos from our engagement session for now and they can swap it out for a wedding photo when we get them back from the photographer.

I would have loved to get them something more extravagant but they know we have no money (hence they are paying for the wedding) so it’s more of a gesture of our gratitude than something to pay them back for what they’ve done for us.

1) They all get corsages/bouts

2) Chocolates by our amazing chocolatier!

3) Porcelain plates for the grandmothers, and a timepiece for the grandfathers

LOL. FI’s parents and my mother both said NOT to buy them anything, as the last thing they wanted was another “thing” to have to put somewhere.

So Fiance and I are going to treat his parents to a nice dinner after our wedding.  I have to think of what to get my mom…
