@katievee:  gorgeous! Definitely wear the hair up! It would go great with both dresses. With the dress in the picture, you don’t want to accessorize too much as the dress makes a bold enough statement. I would say some big earrings and that’s it.

I think bc the dress stands out so much I would do a simple updo.

Wow, I love that dress! I would also go for a very simple looking updo.

@katievee, I have send you a message.

@katievee:  Oooh, so you’re the Bee with the gorgeous sequin lightinthebox dress! You look beautiful. 🙂 Since your theme is the Oscars and you are the bride, I say go all-out with your entire look (while still keeping things elegant, of course). Personally, I’d stay away from updos since those don’t really say “bachelorette party” to me at all.

Hair:

  • Romantic soft waves (elegant and sexy without being too stuffy; plus it definitely translates to your bach. look)

  • Fierce Ponytail sleek or curled (a bit edgier, but no less sophisticated and looks great paired with your elegant gown or short bach. dress)

Accessories (I’d keep these fairly simple since your dress is the focus):

  • gold/colored gemstone chandelier earrings (just because your theme is “Oscars” doesn’t mean you should look like one–throw in color!)

  • And either a [matching] sparkly bracelet or cool gold bangle/cuff:

@katievee:  Gorgeous dress!

I love Reeses pony at the Ocscars….I think this was last year.

@katievee:  I know what you mean. I wore a sequin dress to my friend’s bach., and my hair did get caught on the sequins a few times throughout the night. Maybe you can do an easy, sexy updo (using bobby pins instead of a hair tie) for the shower and then let it down for the bachelorette?

ETA: Another Bee just posted this in another thread, and I thought of you. If you like ponytails, this one is beautiful:
