Ok, so I always wear my watch on the left, but FI says it takes away from the beauty of my ring. Haha. I am trying a switch to my right hand, but so far, I hate it! It’s getting in the way when I wrote things, I keep forgetting its on my right hand, and it just feels odd.
So bees, what hand do you wear your watch? Is it affected by the hand you write with? Is there a “right” and a “wrong”?

I’ve always worn watches on my right when I wear them. But I beat them up so much that I don’t wear them much anymore.

Ya. Maybe that’s why it’s taking away from the “beauty of my ring”, as Fiance put it. My watch is pretty beat up.

I was always told that you wear in on the wrist opposite of your writing hand. My sister is right-handed and wears her watch on her right wrist, so she is a rebel. 🙂

I’m right handed and I always wear my watch on my left hand.

I wear my watch (and any other bracelets) on my left because I’m a righty. Unless I’m going to a fancy party and won’t have to write (like at my wedding I wore a bracelet on my right hand) I always go with the left. I honestly hate having to wear watches and bracelets on my left because yeah, I do feel it takes away from my ring a little. Then I’m so heavy handed on that side while the right is practically bare. I hate it. This is probably why I barely wear watches or bracelets. The other day I was noticing someone who also had her ring on her left hand and she had a bracelet with it, so maybe I’m just self conscious about myself.

I write with my right hand but am left handed with everything else (like sports). I wear a watch on my right hand.

I wear a watch every day and I feel funny when I don’t wear it and constantly keep checking my wrist for the time lol, but I am right-handed and wear my watch on my left wrist but I am worried how it will go on the day if it detracts from my ring and other accessories too much so still decidin what to do because I alos like being able to check the time, maybe I’ll make my bridesmaid wear a watch lol

The old “rule” I’ve heard is you wear the watch on your non-dominant hand

When I do wear my watch, it goes on my left. Its a bangle style watch, and its definitely for looks haha. But because I’m right handed, I like that it doesn’t bang on everything.

I don’t wear one much but when I do, it is always on my left wrist (and I am right handed).

I wear mine on the right and I am right handed. My Darling Husband does the same.
