I agree it is lame to delete posts when so many people take the time to give advice.

I don’t get what you mean  about the necklace though…lol.

@mockblock:  Oh weak, an anon account?? That’s some BS. Either that or it’s a huge elaborate plot by OP who made the anon account to out herself DUN DUN DUUUUNNNNN!

@MrsPanda99:  Yeah…that was definitely weird. But I’m also cynical enough to believe that someone would actually gift his wife a necklace after she cheated. I genuinely thought it was a sincere thread, though. But I’m with you about staying out of threads that irk me (I’ve come across quite a lot, too).

@mockblock:  Ugh, people can be so awful.

@mockblock:  I was wondering where it went.  I found that rather bizarre that anyone would buy a romantic gift like that post cheating. The whole thing was just bizarre.

i couldn’t figure how he had gotten that necklace in the timeframe that lapsed.

@MrsWBS:  its so bizarre if it was made up. i dont know why people feel the need to invent things here! what do they get out of it?!

@newname_99:  Attention, maybe? Personality disorders? There are lots of stories out there of people pretending to be people they are not. Like that MTV show “Catfish” and the Mantei Teo thing…I’ve also read articles of people pretending to be cancer patients and infiltrating those forums. Scary!

I mean depending in where they live in relation to the store I guess he could have purchased it. Also if he wants to work on their marriage and is maybe feeling about his admitted attraction to sexy co-worker lady (“I don’t know” = yes.) maybe he would have bought it for her. Stranger things have happened and from what she posted dude sounds like a great guy.

Oh well, if it wasn’t real the mini soap opera was kinda entertaining. (I am a horrible person for saying that I know)

@echapman:  ok, but didn’t they have a talk when he got home, where she admitted the email deletion, and they were working things out, and so that’s the evening… And then she wakes up with this necklace that he just remembered her saying she wanted, so he didn’t already have it?

Then again,  maybe he got tiffany to open up at midnight while she was sleeping….

but then why delete it! Why not upload a pic of it and tell the naysayer off?

LOL Oh so funny. I think it’s so weird that people make up big elaborate stories. I wonder if people were always this crazy and the internet just gives them an outlet, or if there are really more crazies out there now.
