I’ve never been to a wedding with a “midnight snack” or midnight buffet. Seems like an unnecessary expense to feed your guests twice.

Oooh! I’m very interested in this! Perhaps you could add a poll with some of the more popular options?

Some of the ideas I’m considering:

Nachos

Popcorn

Sundaes

S’mores

A friend of mine was at a wedding recently and as they were leaving, there was a hot pretzel machine and various dipping sauces!  Sounds yummy to me

i am having a late night build your own nachos bar. i am have a 3 tiered fountain of nacho cheese and you can add your own toppings such a jalapenos, black olives, ect. So far it’s been the #1 anticipated thing at our wedding, everyone keeps talking about it.

I went to a wedding last year that had an In-N-Out Burger truck outside of the venue at the end of the night. Not something I’d normally go for but it really was the perfect snack after a night of drinking and dancing.

My wedding was the first I’d been to with a late night snack. I’m always desperate for more FOOD after hard dancing at weddings, and there’s only more DESSERT! We had Dick’s Burgers, which is a very popular local chain of cheap burgers — it was AWESOME.

So, in general, I vote for non-dessert foods. If you’ve got people drinking, the last thing they need is more sugar!

@MrsBot:  when there are food trucks outside the venue at the end of the night, do the bride and groom pay for this? or is it a guests pay if they want to kind of thing?

@Snow00774:  FI and I went to one in June that had a midnight perogi bar, it was AMAZING! They had a guy cooking fresh perogies with all kinds of toppings like jalapenos, bacon, sauteed onions, sour cream, crated cheeses etc it was deeeeelish!

@Snow00774:  Perogies and sausages sound like a dream to me! They are both Polish foods and are both delish and it will seem like a themed midnight buffet because they go hand in hand!

@September29:  It was paid for by the bride and groom. I can’t remember exactly what they offered but I’m sure it wasn’t the full menu. I got a little box with a hamburger and fries.
