Aww, I only eat the chicken terryaki as well, but stopped when I once got food poisoning 🙁

Came back from holidays at the beach to see that a fire had hit our town (which no one was hurt thank god) so the air is like toxic compared to the fresh sea breeze we have become used too

Mother-In-Law has emailed me everyday for a week saying she wishes she could have made it to our baby shower.  I think she’s trying to make me feel guilty for not consulting her on the date.  Oh well, I say, but it’s getting old.

Well I couldn’t fall asleep until 4:30am and then I woke up at 6:02am and I can’t go back to sleep because my husband left for his 3 day thing and I haven’t been away from him for more than 12 hours in the past almost 3 years. It’s stressing me out greatly knowing he won’t be here for days and I’m stuck at home with no car… So of course I can’t sleep and my birthday is this weekend so I’m going to be an actual zombie by the time he comes home. Just mad at myself for not being able to sleeeeeep…. ugh.

I continue to be baffled by people who drive UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT in the left lane.  I just…don’t…get…it.    And then a car pulled out in front of me once I was off the highway, making me slam on the brakes…and the stupid car proceeded to drive like 5 mph for a block, and turn away.  UGH.

Work. Though my feelings can be more accruately described as “stressed me out” than “pissed me off”

My upstairs neighbor decided that 6am is definitely a good time to move furniture around in her bedroom. She probably was just like getting up and opening drawers, but it woke me up and sounded like moving furniture. Grr apartment living.

Nothing yet cuz it’s almost 5am but there’s plenty of time left in the day. I’m sure I’ll be back to chime in on this thread later…. 🙂

last night i realized after an hour of sewing my effie costume, i put in a panel backwards so i have to bust the stitches and redo the whole front. i also have to come in to work at 6:30am tomorrow, which is ungodly. yesterday wasn’t much better since i got rear-ended by a teenager at a red light in a rental car from the dealership. i don’t even want to begin dealing with that. oh yeah and my yogurt this morning…expired…and i left my phone at home…this is not my week…*grumble grumble grumble*

There was an armed robbery at my school’s dorms at 3:30 this morning. So I get a text message at 5:30 to notify me, which woke me up. I fell back asleep and at 6:00 I got a phone call also to notify me, after which I could not fall back asleep.

I understand that people who live on campus need to be notified right away, but why do I, when I live miles away?

And I’m extra cranky because I’ve been having trouble falling asleep for a couple weeks now.

@peachacid:  Seriously. The way people around here drive really pisses me off. We have an intersection with two straight lanes heading south. I take this road home, once I get off the highway. Inevitably, there’s a rush hour line at the light, and most people are in the left lane. Then, some idiot(s) will sit in the right lane, but instead of hauling ass on green to GET AROUND everyone (because that lane ends half a block after the light), they’ll sit there and expect people to let them over. In rush hour traffic. I had a lady nearly hit me the other day because she tried to cut in front of me (between myself and the car in front of me) WHEN THERE WAS NO ONE BEHIND ME AND PLENTY OF ROOM.

What else? My doctor’s office screwing up my appointment yesterday/being told three different things by three different people (all wrong), but I got what I wanted and much easier/faster than anticipated, so I guess that’s okay.

Also, work. Specifically two guys who NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE so I have to sit there and transfer the call back and page them and transfer and page and transfer and page ad nauseum because they’re too busy sitting on their asses and dicking around on the internet to pick up the phone. I already had a stress headache yesterday because of that shit.

Outlook. It has me super pissed off. For some reason it keeps prompting for the receptionists password (even though it’s saved on there) and she keeps freaking out about it. I tried to fix it, but I don’t know how. And so she’s not connected and missing emails and I’m just ready to rip my hair out about it. I’m not IT. We’re too small to have IT. So she comes running to me. BLARG!

ETA: Oh, and we tried to just sign onto her account via web browser, but she is absolutely 100% clueless on her password. We tried so many times we locked her account fo 12 hours. Shite.

It’s small and I’ve bitched about it before, but driving to work every day, I go through a school zone. And without fail, there are plenty of assholes speeding through it or riding on my bumper honking and giving me the finger. And since I’m traveling at the same time every day, I recognize a lot of the drivers that repeatedly do this!

Seriously, you aren’t special. You are not more important than everyone else on the road.  EVERYONE has somewhere they need to be, and taking 60 seconds of your life to obey the law isn’t the end of the world. I hate school zones as much as anyone else, but I freaking suck it up and slow down!

Also, we’re out of coffee at work so I’m annoyed. :p

@peachacid:  I get pissed off at people that don’t think the speed LIMIT is fast enough. Its a speed limit not a speed minimum.
