My husband proposes to me all the time. Even now that we’re married, he still asks me to marry him πŸ™‚

I’m having a particularly stressful week at my new job (note that I’m in the office today…ugh) and I texted my Darling Husband “If you don’t see me in the next 24 hours, it’s safe to assume I’ve jumped off the nearest bridge.”

He texted back, “I will catch you… Superman style. Hang in there, babe. I love you.”

He’s not usually the romantic type, but it was so sweet!

I’m back in California (we live in NC) visiting family while he is back at home. The other day he texted me to tell me how sexy I am and that I’m going to be such a MILF. It made me feel good because I feel so swollen, fat, and big since I’m 29 weeks pregnant. It was so sweet πŸ™‚

I really can’t pick just one, but every morning before Darling Husband leaves for work he makes sure to give me a kiss and tells me he loves me. Over 3 years together, and he hasn’t missed one day.

I also told him I was going to bake peanut butter cookies today, and he said he wants to help me so that we can bake together. πŸ™‚

I was just cleaning the bathroom and Darling Husband came upstairs and said come one get out of there you shouldn’t be in there (since I’m pregnant) and finished scrubbing it for me! Bathrooms have always been my duty since he HATES cleaning them! It’s the little things that matter most! πŸ™‚

We are currently on honeymoon and as we walked out the door of the hotel room to go to breakfast he promptly turns around and walks back in, returning a few moments later. He holds up his left hand and saris, “they can take my iPhone but they’ll never take my wedding ring!”

@drlolaz:  That’s so sweet! I’m sitting here with a big goofy grin imagining it.

Darling Husband is away for the weekend, but before he left last night be patted my belly (33 weeks pg) and told it, “Take care of your mom while I’m gone”. He’s so cute. πŸ™‚

The other night my husband got teary eyed when he was talking about my dad. He said that he honestly feels like my dad is completely his dad too, & that my dad’s love for him is unconditional.

That really touched my heart, as I grew up with just my dad & no mom, & to hear that my husband loves my dad so much & is finally getting the unconditional love he deserves but never got his whole life means the world to me.

I think it gave my butterflies not only because he feels that way, but because he told in such a touching way. I love that my husband is so senitive yet so strong.

He talked about what it’s going to be like when we have a newborn!

Baby plans are about 3 years away. We’re looking forward to it, but enjoying our time without babies for now. It just gives me butterflies imagining it. He’s going to be an awesome dad. πŸ™‚

Earlier this week, I had a cold. SO went out to get us dinner because I was too sick and too lazy to cook anything. When he came back later, I hugged him to thank him and I knew he had put on his perfume before going out (which smell I absolutely love), so I tried to smell it from his neck, but my nose was so congestioned that I could not smell anything. So I told him, feeling a bit frustrated. He looked at me and told me : ”I know … I thought about buying you flowers on my way back, but I thought you would not be able to smell them”. I started crying, because for months I’ve been playfully telling him that he had never bought me flowers and that I would love him to. I joked about it, telling him from time to time ”oh, this is nice, but of course, not as much as flowers” and things like that. So to know that in this moment when I was sick, he actually thought about buying me flowers, it really moved me. πŸ™‚
