lr0901 :  The dress you bought first is much more flattering to you.

The wedding dress is more flattering but altering the neckling on the blue can help make it more flattering

I think both are lovely but I’m not really into traditional gowns much. Which one feels like YOU? Its hard to explain this but certain clothes I put on I look in the mirror and in my mind I’m like yes, this is totally me. 😀 Thats how I picked my dress and its not really traditional at all. So never mind what seems more *approriate* for the occasion which dress do you feel more beautiful wearing? Thats the one to go with.

But you might want to wait until the alterations are done on the first dress to decide. Once its fitted specifically for you that might be the one you love most.

lr0901 :  but the fabric on the blue dress is blotchy and will photograph even more so, and the flutter sleeves hit at the widest part of a woman’s arm.

call me traditional but i LOVE the white one on you!

It feels more whimsical to me anyway.

Like someone just said you could wear one to ceremony and one to reception.

i would change into the blue one later if you love it maybe for first dance.

At the end of the day its your wedding! do what you want! it that means wearing the blue all day then just do it

Can you wear the blue one for the reception dinner before the wedding? Or like other said wear the white for the ceremony and blue for the reception. But in the end it’s whatever makes you the most happy. This is your day. Be you!!

My personal taste is to the ivory number and you look lovely in it. BUT…you always wanted to get married in blue and you seem really to love the new dress, so I say wear the blue one. Get the neckline altered so it’s lower or more boat shaped though- I find it slightly frumpier than the ivory neckline. The other option is to change into the blue one once the ceremony is over. It does seem a shame to waste such a pretty bridal dress (unless you can make money back on it?)

The blue dress is really cool but the willowby gown just looks so dreamy on you. Can you do an engagement shoot or photoshoot in the blue gown?

I’ve seen the willowby on a lot of people and you it looks STUNNING on you.
