So I bought this dumb little skeleton decoration for Halloween. I wanted to put it on my front door, but it doesn’t show up that well because the paint colors are too similar. Same with the family room. Since I felt weird about putting it in my kid’s room, I hung it in the doorway of our bedroom.
And I’ll be damned if that thing doesn’t freak me the hell out every time I walk around the corner. I want to move it, but Darling Husband says “Good Morning” to it every morning, and he asked me not to.
How have you scared yourself lately?

Haha, that’s so cute that your husband says hi to it!
I watched the season opener of bones (featuring creepy serial killer), alone at night while my husband was at work. Bad choice 🙂

I went to Salem, MA last night. It’s the town where the notorious Salem Witch Trials occurred in 1692, birthplace of Nathanial Hawthorne, etc. They do up Halloween real well. There are tons of witch museums, occult shops, fortune tellers, and it’s just a fun place to be this time of year!

This isnt really what IVE done, but just a story that reminded me of yours. Growing up my mom collected dolls. She had one made by a friend that looked so much like a real child. When my mom 1st got it, she set it up in a chair in the corner of the room, then went to work that night. Im home, alone, at night, and every couple of minutes I would catch sight of this creepy doll and jump 20 feet! You would think after the 5th time I would remember about it! It was a long night, thats all I can say 😉
