haha my Fiance doesn’t really have a lot of secrets but he won’t let me mention his love of the online game Runescape in public haha. I guess it’s also sort of a secret that he gets really into shows like 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom (:

For a while he wanted to keep it a secret that we met online, but thats not the case anymore.

He has a pretty high tolerance for “girly” decoration – floral bedspread, dishes, pictures on the wall, all that stuff.  I enjoy this very much!

He’s a total nerd about fancy kitchen gadgets.  He loves his new copper pots that he got on sale.  πŸ™‚

My man knows about this place so I can’t say anything he might be hurt about (actually, now that I think about it, I don’t think he has or does anything he’s embarrassed about anyway – he’s pretty up front about his opinions on everything!), but he’s pretty secure so I can at least say that he also enjoys Glee!  Which was a huge shock, because he hates musicals.  Either that, or he’s very good at pretending he likes it for my sake, but I doubt it – he has no issue telling me which shows of mine he hates and won’t watch with me, I can’t imagine this one would be any different if he didn’t actually like it.  πŸ™‚

PS: ^ That copper pot thing is adorable.

Hmmm this is a good one! Darling Husband also enjoys Glee, Grey’s Anatomy, and any of the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows. Hehehe! I think he doesn’t mind romantic comedies as much as he thinks he should and often suggests we should watch one because I’m in a ___ mood (insert happy, sad, bored, anything), I’m pretty sure he uses me as his excuse.

He snuggles with the cats when he thinks I’m not looking.

He’d rather be home with me than out anywhere else (and ditto vice versa). At times we’ve lied to get out of going out because we just want to stay home alone together Surprised

A few months after we got together, he was going out to a Halloween party but had no costume. He put on my clothes (like skirt, bra, everything, the man is 6′-1″ and I’m 5′-5″) to go out as “me”, we laughed our butts off, and then he decided he was too tired to go out, got changed back, and that was that. So really, he just dressed up in my clothes once for fun. God I wish I had pictures of that.

hahaha I’m loving this thread already!!

My Fiance doesn’t want people to know that he watches 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom. He claims it’s like a train wreck. Horrible, but you can’t help but watch!

He has also read the Twilight series. He started against his will, (because of me!) but then he kept going…”because I made him!”

He had the BEST time last weekend when we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to register. He was honestly more excited than I was. It was pretty adorable.

(Just wanted to edit really fast…Fiance wouldn’t mind me sharing this info on here, so please don’t think I don’t respect him. He might have a problem though if I were to mention it in front of his guys.)

My Fiance love Desperate House wives. Him and his old room mate’s wife get together every now and then to watch a few. He can just sit there and watch it for hours!

@kate9854: Omg too true! Darling Husband loves it too although he waits until a season is over, and then downloads and watches them all back to back, no commercials. It’s a little scary. LOL!

he doesn’t want people to know that he calls our cat his baby. He calls it baby  but his name is really Sarge. We have only had him for a couple of weeks.  Sometimes I ask where the cat is and he says ” Baby is over there”

lol

@fancypants: We call our cat “cat”.  Also “kitty”.  He has various other names, and even a real name attached to his microchip, and a bunch of names we wish we’d thought of before his actual name was decided, so we call him pretty much whatever we feel like calling him at whatever time.  He’ll only respond to those first two, though.  XD

@sugarpea: my SO plays too! I just had to tell him that its your guy’s “secret” and he totally understood… it took him forever to open up to me about it. not gonna lie i’ve even tried to play myself, but its just a little too complicated for me.

lol and since he know bout this thread i’m not gonna comment on the question just to be safe

@bakerella: He can’t wait that long. They’ll get together about once a month to watch a few. For some reason he calls it DP, never understood that. Actually that’s what he spent this evening doing! lol

Once my SO made the mistake of mentioning at his weekly poker game with the guys that “the Twilight movies actually aren’t that bad.”  Epic Fail.

Aside from that, he looks forward to watching the DVR’ed “Newlywed Shows” that are on the Game Show Network every night when I come home from work.  Guess this is a good thing considering I’m a Waiting-Bee  πŸ˜‰
