3.25, I was mostly concerned about getting heels high enough that I didnt have to hem my dress. I might be a tiny bit taller than Fiance on our wedding day. I don’t usually factor in comfort when buying shoes, I just tough it out.

@dynamic_duo: lol my ceremony is on the beach too, clearly I didn’t factor that in either. Still have to figure that out….

I’m wearing some “bridal” looking 4″ heels for the ceremony then I plan on changing into more comfortable/casual 4″ heels.  I started out with these 5.25″ Betsey Johnsons and decided they were too high for comfort!

Oh, and to answer your questions, I am going for both comfort and style (hence buying 3 pairs of shoes for one freakin day) and since I am barely 5’1 and Fiance is 5’11, I am definitely considering our height difference.

I’ll be somewhere around 2-3″ heels.  I’m 5’3″ and he is about 5’10″… but I definitely put value on comfort.

I need a little bit of a heel to help with dress length and my posture, but too much and I’ll end up in flip flops defeating the whole purpose 🙂

Mine will proably be 4. I’m a full foot shorter than Fiance, and 4 inches is about as high as I can go and still feel comfortable.

BUT, the most comfortable pair of heels I own have a 2 1/2 inch heel, and they are sooo comfy! If I wasn’t so short, I’d be going for something in that range. It’s enough to be a noticiable difference, but still really easy to walk in.

Oh, and I didn’t even think about this, because it’s just assumed that I have to get at least a foot hemmed off of every dress I buy, but are you close to being the correct height for your dress? If so, you can save in alterations by getting something that makes you the right height!

I am going with 2.5-3″ heels (have to find them yet)

I’m 5’5″ and bought a sample comfort dictates nothing taller than 3.5″ for me, though I *could* probably get away with 4″ [with the dress length].

I think mine were about 3″ (both pairs). I’m 5’4″ and Darling Husband is about 5’7″ or 5’8″, and we were about the same height. I don’t have a picture of the shoes I wore for our ceremony (they were black t-strap heels), but here’s a shot of the ivory ones I wore with the green dress.

My mother and I had the same shoes (my foot is the one on the left). And yes, I am wearing the dreaded nude nylons–it was December, people! ;P

Mine are a little over 4 inches high. I did this because I was having a lot of lace added to my skirt, and they wanted as much room to work with. Also, I am 5’7″ and Fiance is 6’3″ there is no way shoes are going to make me taller than him, but if we were closer in height I would definitly take that into consideration.
