The only hobbies we share are cooking and watching movies. We have plenty of common interests but finding common activities is really hard. He is very athletic so any physical activity is frustrating because I only hold him back and he pushes me too hard.
Living in Arizona we went hiking quite a bit, but not so much now that we live in Texas.
I want to find something to do together as well…some kind of crafty/home improvement project.

Hmm… Mr. Yorkie and I share a lot of hobbies in common. Running marathons is what brought us together. From there we learned that we both love researching our family history, photography, cycling, kayaking, visiting national parks (we’re so dorky, we collect stamps in our "passports"), and just being outdoors. He’s got a bit of a crafty streak, too. Mr. Y introduced me to fantasy sports (I won the NCAA bracket this year!)… and I’ve taken him to his first NASCAR race. The best part is we have an awesome time together! :o)

@ejs4y6: Our hobby is similar to yours! At least we have the same taste in TV and movies though, so it’s a pretty fun hobby if you ask me! 🙂 We also both LOVE to cook, so I think that’s our one legitimate hobby!
Mr. K is really into all things athletic, but it’s something I let him do with his guy friends. Anytime we go running or biking together I slow him down a lot!
Oh! I thought of one more! Rock Band! We love playing it on the PS3. 🙂

Hmm…a hobby…. Well, we like to go to movies, but I don’t view that as a hobby, really. I suppose the closest thing to a hobby we do together is cook/bake. =D We used to swim together as well, but time constraints have since gotten a hold of me.

We both just got our SCUBA certification and have done some open water dives. And we both are foodies! We love to go out to eat, cook at home and one of our favorite things is to go to Central Market and shop then grab a bite to eat!

he got me into rock climbing, and we love to ski/snowboard, hike and cook together, not exactly hobbies but we love them 🙂

We’re both really outdoorsy. We love hiking and camping and paddling etc. We actually met at a climbing wall. And we’ve each influenced the other to pick up new outdoorsy sports (biking for me and snowshoeing for him).

We spend most of our free time together (correction, I have way more free time than Fiance. Fi spends most of his free time with me).
Any free weekend we spend at his family’s lakehouse fishing, laying in the sun, playing ping pong. boating, etc. Otherwise, we love to golf, work out together, go out to yummy meals, watch the red sox, and lounge on the couch together.

It’s nice to see a lot of you who don’t have actual hobby-hobbies, but more so just enjoy time together.
I never considered sun-bathing a hobby (or food!), but I guess I should!

The Fiance LOVES golfing, I tried it once. So not for me.
We both love movies, football which is his passion is slowly becoming mines. I LOVE tailgating and we’ve had season tickets for our 3rd year now. And we also love cooking together, particularly experimenting! Lately we have also started making home brews together which will also be bottled as wedding favors!

He got me into geocaching and being a bit more of an outdoors girl. I now somewhat enjoy camping!

We both like to golf, but neither one of us are very good (guess that’s something else we share), we like to ski, and we like to watch football games.

We don’t really have any true hobbies that we share – although our first date was spent people watching
(that’s when I knew he was the one, I swear! lol)
We can almost do anything together – we tolerate each other’s love for sports (his) and shopping (mine), but we have similar senses of humor and that works out well. We both read and like to cook. It’s a good blend.
