I got Darling Husband a card, but I don’t expect anything from him. I work Friday and he has a doctor appointment/ulrasound, so we won’t really get to spend it together, either.

@gingerkitten:  We went all out for Christmas. Then we both just had birthdays and went all out again!

I told him, let’s do it light for Valentine’s lol! Because we both tend to be over the top generous gift givers. So the plan is for us to not overdo this.

I’m getting him this t-shirt folding board that we saw one night while watching Big Bang Theory that he was really into. Plus one of those specialty order meat and cheese trays that he loves to snack on. And I also ordered him some shampoos from Amazon – I spoil him with products lol. And a really sweet Valentine’s day card.

All his gifts are a complete surprise, he has no idea.

He will actually be working out of town that day, so our plan is once he is back in town that evening, get take out food, have a quiet dinner at home together, exchange gifts and then probably watch movie.

We aren’t exchanging gifts or even going out (aside from froyo) this V-Day. We are saving money and it’s never been a big holiday with us anyway.

@CocoClassic:  Haha!  Totally fine!  He loves his Christmas Lego calendars, so I knew this would go over well!  And it was really inexpensive!  A couple of trips to Hobby Lobby with 40% off coupons and a Lego set.

I think I may do one around Christmas and use actual boxes!  But I am really looking forward to repeating this over and over in new ways!  One of my best ideas ever!
