Sending out my save the dates tomorrow- I have the basics- (names, dates, city). Can i put reception and ceremony info on them? Not time or anything just reception xxx and ceremony xxxx? Or is that too much?

From what I have read on here and according to the save the dates we have recieved for other weddings they all seem to have the names, date, city location, and their wedding website if one has been created!
Then of course it says “invitation to follow”

All you need is your names /the date/city/and let them know an invitation will follow. Just curious but why you are sending them out so late??

I think most people expect to receive the ceremony/venue information on the formal invite. We added our wedding website address to the bottom for people who were curious.

All we put was our names that we were getting married the date and formal invite to follow!!! We have the SAME DATE!!!!! You normally do not put that much detail on them but they typically go out alot earlier too!

I’m getting married 3 weeks before you (according to your info), and sent out my ACTUAL invites two weeks ago.
If that’s correct, it’s probably a little late for save the dates.

My invitations are going out Friday! Maybe skip the save the date and just send the invite?!
