I’m thinking this may come out ot be cost effective way of doing things. I’ve seen a few that I like and with a little rhinestone here and ribbon there I think they will look fab.
Can you share your Invitation Kit pics and spruce ups?

I’m really sorry I don’t have a pic, but we ordered our invites and RSVP cards from 123print.com Once they came in I added 2 rhinestones to the invites and 1 rhinestone to the RSVP card. Note: If you are using rhinestones, be aware that the rhinestones may go through the envelope. Mine did but I used the free envelopes they gave. You are able to upgrade for a cost.
I highly recommend them. They are super cheap and the paper quality is nice. We ordered 250 invites and RSVP cards and addressed envelopes for $190. Good Luck!

I also don’t have a pic 🙁 but our invites are going to be the Anna Griffin black & white damask kit from Michaels. I shopped around on various sites like Cards & Pockets but found that the Anna Griffin invites were definitely the most cost-effective because of Michael’s coupons. We had a coupon for 40% off one item INCLUDING sale items, and a 20% off total purchase that could be combined with other coupons, AND the invites were on sale the weekend we got them. We got 2 boxes (total 60 invites) for around $30, which means <50¢ per invite, because the kit also includes RSVP cards and envelopes, and thank you cards and envelopes.
I will probably be adding pocketfolds and belly bands to them, if that will fit in the included envelopes. I’ll probably order those from Cards & Pockets, because I like their selection best and they seem to have good prices.

Are belly bands just a ribbon around the invite? Also, what do you attach it with? Glue?

bump because I’m also intererested. I was also looking at some Anna Griffin invitations and wondering how to spruce them up.

We used Anna griffin invites and jazzed them up with a ribbon belly band and a monogram. I used glue dots to attach everything.
