Do you have to send the wedding invites before the shower invites? We will have the shower invites ready before the wedding ones and I want to send them a month early but if we have to wait we wont be able to send the shower invites until like 2 weeks before the shower!

Did you send save-the-dates? Do all the shower invitees know they’re also invited to the wedding? If you sent save-the-dates, then I think it’s 100% fine to send shower invites first. If not, I’d try harder to get the actual invitations out earlier, so guests can get them first. Also, if your shower is local, then you might not need a whole month.
Ultimately, either way is probably fine, so no worries.

@star_shine: I was wondering this same thing!
My friend is getting married in June and she just had her shower the other day. I haven’t received a wedding invitation yet, and I didn’t get a save the date either, but I know I’m invited to the wedding.
I wonder what I will do…

About half of the shower invites are local and half are anywhere from the next state over to the other side of the country so it would have to be a month or more if we want a chance of anyone from out of town to consider even coming. We didn’t send save the dates because we just told everyone about it and when it was
