I would say it depends on your location.  You could get alot or a little for $3K but I think that’s a good amount still.

We didn’t really have a budget but ended up spending $27K+ on floral and decor.  Didn’t get that much flowers for the price we paid but we used an award winning designer which brought up the price considerably..

It depends on your location time of year and what flowers you want and what you consider decor. Location and time of year can really affect your cost.  It’s doable it just depends on what your going for. Flower and decor can really add up to so are you doing some of the decor yourself? High centerpieces tend to cost more then lower ones. Are you getting corsages of mother’s and grandparents. Do you need to add a lot of floral for your ceremony or just reception. Do you plan on useing a florist or ordering flowers and making them up yourself. Are you renting lighting are you including that in your decor are you renting chairs or upgrading your venues chairs? Decor can be table cloths napkins charter plates. Can the flowers for the ceremony be used for the reception. You may want to call around to some florist tell them what your looking for and get an idea price range go from there. Some people may not consider that decor I’m just going with how are venue grouped it.

In St. Louis (where I believe you are as well!) We were quoted about $2000 -$2500 at most places. We were skipping the big ceremony arrangements (the church we are getting married in will have a bunch up at that time so we won’t need any) and did greenery on the tables instead of floral centerpieces, but our boquets and boutineers were the same numbers. So $3000 should be doable as long as you keep the flowers in season! I will say that every florist we talked to were great at staying within our budget, so just talk to them!

In the end we went with Soulard Florist. She was great to work with, her flowers are beautiful and she was half the price as everyone else for the same arrangements! Or flowers will be done for about $1500

I think that’s doable, but it could depend on your area and if you want specific flowers. We told our florist to just use whatever flowers are in season. We were quoted $3,500 for 6 bridesmaids bouquets, my bridal bouquet, 3 corsages, 11 boutonnières, 2 altar arrangements, cake flowers, and 15 centerpieces (8 low, 7 tall). Here are some inspiration pics we gave her:

Location really has a lot to do with it for sure. My flowers were about $12,000 for the ceremony and reception all in (including all the bouquets) and then maybe about another $3k for table and chair rentals and a white dance floor. I live in a very HCOL area though, so everything is just more expensive here.
