With my family, we just open presents under the tree on Christmas morning. It’s really not a big deal.
Darling Husband has more traditions that he brings to the table. His family does stockings overnight that are opened first thing in the morning. Darling Husband also goes to Christmas Eve mass, which I’ve also attended even though I’m not religious.

Everyone leaves we all meet at church on Christmas morning everyone comes to my parents for left overs and we watch Christmas movies

christmas changes for us almost every year. I really love to go home for christmas, cause my mom goes all out with cooking and cookies, christmas tree and everything. My Darling Husband family is a lot more low key they put up a small tree, have a small dinner and exchange a gift or two. Definitely not knocking them, because i adore my inlaws.
ive also spent a few christmas’s doing nothing because i work in a field that gets no holidays off. it sucks and i usually only celebrate by ordering a pizza and eating a carton of ice cream to drown my sorrows in, lol.
the older my sister and i get the more low key they become though, sometimes we do it all on christmas eve and then spend christmas day hanging out and watching movies, and sometimes we go see a movie christmas eve and then wait till christmas night to open everything after dinner.

I love Christmas! My family mainly does Christmas on Christmas day. We open presents in the morning, and then have our dinner really early (around noon).
I’ve been trying to get some new traditions started (ie. Christmas breakfast) and then have dinner later. But my family is not going for that. Unfortunately we don’t really spend any time together on Christmas. My family is more interested in watching tv in separate rooms. Again, I’ve tried to change this but they don’t want to change.
I don’t really have a SO right now. But in the past, I’ve been lucky to get invited to their home for Christmas sometimes. Mainly they do gifts and dinner. Sometimes it’s just dinner. The nice thing about any of the SO Christmases I’ve been able to go to were that they spent time together as a family.
