I may have a skewed view based on weddings I have been to:

Small <100

Medium 100-200

Large 200-300

Huge 300-400

Ridiculous 400+

Unfortunately it is looking like I am going to fall into the ridiculous category. Oh well

That is large to me!  We’re only having like 60 guests!

I’d say that your on the “larger” side of “average” – if that makes any sense.

to me, <100 is small, 100-250 is medium-ish, and 250+ is large

I would agree with large. I would say that anything over 150 is large.

I wanted a wedding with about 80 guests so my guest list of 180 seems huge to me!

Wow! I guess my view of weddings is skewed by a friend who had a wedding with over 300 people, and I feel like that is the average! We are having around 220 I think. I have only been to a handful of other weddings in the past actually, and they were around 100-150 people.

I think over 150 is large too.

I think over 150 is large, between 100-150 is medium, and under 100 is small. There are a lot of brides doing smaller weddings now under 100 people, but most catering halls require a 150 person minimum for Saturday night weddings.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a wedding with under probably 150 people. So that seems small to me.  150-250 is average, and I’d say 250+ is big. Ours is probably around 225ish.

According to this link, the “average” number of guests invited to a wedding is 178.  By those standards you wedding is on the high side of average (pretty much what I said above!).

i know up here in canada (or at least where i’m from) 150 is a big wedding!

N’s cousin just got married last year with a little bit under 200, and people were shocked!

I’m with @laural. We’re having 200, and it definitely feels medium/large!

I would consider it large.
