Oh and I’m giving jewelry as gifts and I’m not sure if they’ll wear the bracelets again, but the earrings are these modern plain silver (semi) hoops that i might order for myself as well.

The girls are paying for their own dresses ($250-$280 depending on style) and their own shoes, which I just ask either be pale gold or nude.  I’ll cover their hair the day of ($100 each), but they have the option to pay $100 for makeup if they want it done.  3 out of 6 of my bridesmaids are going to be in their 3rd trimester at my wedding so I’m really trying to prioritize their comfort above all else by not insisting on a particular shoe, hair or makeup style.

With transportation day of, hair, gifts, food I’ll probably spend about $300 on each of my bridesaids.

I’ve been a bridesmaid 8 times and by far, the “worst” (i.e. chucked in a drawer and not used again) was the jewelry and any kind of “bridesmaid” t-shirt.  The best gifts I’ve gotten include a subscription to Birch Box, a travel lingerie bag with my name embroidered on it, any kind of lip gloss, a John Derian platter (awesome).  Basically anything that really has no use on the actual wedding day!
