To be 100% certain you would have to get a sample of that fabric from the website to compare.

I second bells suggestion to get a swatch of the Bridesmaid or Best Man fabric so your stepmom’s mom can match it.

I have never heard of ‘luminescent chiffon’ ever and I am in the fashion industry.  It honestly just sounds like something they wrote for marketing purposes.

It sounds like something that lights up under a blacklight. I’ve never heard that term to describe chiffon before!

Luminescent probably just has an iridescent sheen or something.  To be honest, it sounds like marketing bs.  The most important thing to know about fabric is usually content. Whether it’s a silk chiffon or polyester chiffon will be much more important.  Good luck finding something that works.

Maybe the word “luminescent” is an adjective, not the type of fabric.  Hyping the product with a fancy word that doesn’t actually mean anything real with regards to what you’re getting.  Sort of the way a realtor would call something “charming”.  It’s bullshit, and they know it, but it works because people think the house is better than it is because it’s charming or luminescent.  ๐Ÿ™‚

Then again, maybe someone invented a shiny-type chiffon that I’m not aware of?  That’s also possible.  Who knows.

Luminescent Chiffon has a charmeuse lining underneath the chiffon, the lining has a satin finish – lustrous and reflective look to  it so it makes the chiffon look like it is shimmering. Most likely you can contact the bridal salon and they can order some fabric from the designers so it will match.
