Hopefully just relaxing at home. We saw fireworks on the river last weekend, and we generally watch the DC fireworks on TV. It’s just so hot this year!

I’m debating between going to a friend’s house for BBQing with Fiance and just staying home.  I would love a day to just hang around the house and veg, but I feel like I should go socialize haha

We saw some fireworks last night, which was a lot of fun.  Today after our respective workouts we might hit the beach and then we are off to a music festival. ๐Ÿ™‚

The beach thing was originally a surprise, leading me to believe that a proposal was coming…  He told me we were going to the beach last night before dinner, achk!  I will still have fun and not be disappointed about the proposal, I will still have fun and not be disappointed about the proposal… ;P lol

I am in Australia, so we don’t celebrate 4th of July, but I am half American (by dad was born and grew up in WY, then went to college in OR before meeting my mum when he was on holiday over here and moved over here) so I was definitely thinking about the celebrations today – 9 years ago I was in Alaska for 4th of July, it was awesome ๐Ÿ™‚ today was the State of Origin finale (Rugby League QLD vs NSW) and QLD won for the 7th year in a row, definitely a celebration for me ๐Ÿ˜€

Happy 4th!!

It is sooooo hot out and we are both working tomorrow, so we are staying in. I made mom’s oriental salad and brownies and he’s going to grill some burgers. That, and a marathon of Breaking Bad and we are looking forward to a lovely day!

I don’t really celebrate it, but my friend invited me to her BBQ/firework-watching shindig, so Boyfriend or Best Friend and I will go to that after he gets off work.

Jealous of all you warm weather Bees! It is a cold and windy day here in SF.
