Hmm.. I haven’t done much yet! This might help me keep track!

 – Invitations

-Burlap runners lined with lace

-Burlap banners (I did a few of them) (Mr & Mrs, Cheers, Thank You, Love Sweet Love)

-DIY Centerpieces and Flowers (might DIY gold mercury vases or lace wrapped jars)

-Ceremony decor, not sure what but its gonna be outdoors

-Favors

– Guest “book” (having guests sign canvas photo)

-Card basket

-Clothesline photo album

-Lawn Games

Geez.. That sounds like a lot! I better get started!

I feel like theres more…

I have a few –

invites,

seating chart (will be a scroll);

I spy picture hunt scrolls (paper already teastained just need to print, make the finials, glue the cardboard tubes in place….);

Ribbon veil – almost done, just a few more lengths of ribbon to dye and put in;

150 papier mache masquerade masks to make and decorate;

guestbook – having square vases into which I will put acid free pens and card for people to write on at their leisure;

Peacock feather fans for the venue walls;

lolly buffet boxes which are doubling as place cards;

table names;

bouquet;

I am also drying my own rose petals and making the cones for people to throw

I am sure there is more!

Since I just woke up and in the middle of my coffee, I’ll do my best with my sleepy brain to list them here..

1) Name hangers– fail.

2) Pomanders for the ceremony– all but one, fail. (Yes, still have the one, lol)

The failed kind- coffee filters (lol!!) ::::

3) Numerous silk flower projects- all fail.

4) Monogramed my aisle runner- success!

5) flower curtain– still on going but looks great mixed with beaded curtain strands!- success

6) Invitations (minus the pocketfolds and envelopes), designed, printed, cut

7) GOBO monogram design for lighting people at reception

8) Menu’s,  designed, printed, cut

9) Table numbers,  designed, printed, cut

10)  STD’s,  designed, printed, cut

11) Miscellaneous wedding stationary signs: “Welcome”, “Thank You”, “Cards”,  designed, printed, cut

12) Ketubah for interfaith ceremony,  designed, sent off for canvas printing

13) 2 different style feather hair clips (haven’t decided which one to wear for rehearsal)

14) debating on centerpieces.. Would rather pay than do, depends on budget.

15) Programs

16) Silk flower swags and garland for the ceremony gazebo. (still a work in progress)

17) Aisle arrangements for the chairs

Again, half awake, so I may be missing some stuff.

So far just my veil. My materials are still  in transit so I haven’t started. I would do more, but Fiance is pretty against DIY. (I’m not really sure why.) I debated DIY invitations, envelopes, Save-The-Date Cards, and flowers though. Our centerpieces might be DIY but it depends on what we decide we want.

I made the door hangers for our hotel!  and our stamps.  I’m thinking about drink straws, but that’s still in the thinking stage…

@kgarvin01:  Omigosh, I love love love the stamps!! what a fab idea!!!!!!!!! (love the door hangers too!!

@italiaangel80:  Oh yeah, I forgot all about the emergency kit.. Darn it. I better think on that one.. I figured I’d throw some stuff into a cosmetic bag and fasten a bunch of safety pins to the inside of my dress… Hmmph…. Darn it.

What about bathroom baskets? Is anyone doing those? I’m, debating but prob not. My venue has stuff in their bathrooms, but more perhaps? I dunno.

@italiaangel80:  Do you have any tips? I’m not too worried about it taking away from my hair because I’m probably having it down and straight. The other option is a very simple updo.

@italiaangel80:  I probably am. My hair refuses to curl so that limits my options a lot. I’m hoping to do my own hair so simple will probably turn out better. Plus I like my hair down 🙂
