Im looking to expand on my jewlrey collection with higher quality pieces. Feel free to share pictures! I love sparkly things! I normally wear my promise ring which is a heart ring from pandora, a solitare red ruby ring which was a family herloom that my mom gave me when I turned 16, and a beaded tiffany’s bracelet (And hopefully an e-ring soon, bc he bought it and I am now officially in waiting

Do you wear earrings?
I think of a classic jewelry set as, a watch if you wear one (I haven’t worn a watch since I was 16!), a solid gold or diamond bracelet (like, a tennis bracelet or a DBTY (diamonds by the yard) as examples, classic earrings, a necklace and a RHR that doesn’t compete with the wedding set or Engagement Ring.

I change most of my jewellery to match my outfits. The only things I do wear every day (other than my wedding set) are two rings on my right hand. One belonged to my grandmother, it’s silver, with a dark green and red bloodstone heart, with Mara sure around the edge. The other is a two tone wooden ring.
Generally I prefer to get a few cheaper things rather than one or two expensive ones, then you can mix and match when you’re wearing different colours!

gray15 : It sounds like you already have some nice and beautiful pieces! I think building up or expanding a jewelery collection is a personal thing because jewelry tends to have a lot of sentiment and life story behind it, which the pieces in your collection have. I can tell, from your short post, that each piece is special and meaningful to you. I would love to see pictures of them!
I’ve been married a while, so I have a few different wedding sets I switch depending on my mood. I have my original engagement ring, a gemstone solitaire, and two anniversary rings that I trade off and on. Sometimes, I will wear them with a band. But sometimes, I wear them alone. But I pretty much always wear some form of “married” on my left hand ring finger — ha, ha!
I have one particular ring I wear on my right hand ring finger pretty much every day. It is a white and rose gold setting with a blue zircon stone. It’s a piece that is very special to me, but I know doesn’t appeal to most people. I will generally wear at least one other ring on either my right or left hand index finger.
My favorite everyday earrings are my diamond studs, which were a gift from my husband to celebrate our daughter’s birth.
I don’t wear bracelets every day, but if I wear one on my everyday out-and-about, it will usually be one of my Naga bracelets from John Hardy. Again, not something that would appeal to most people, but I love them. And my husband gave me an Apple Watch for Christmas; I’ve been making an effort to wear it every day.

I’m not a huge jewlery person. Daily I wear my wedding set, and diamond stud earrings. Also my fitbit LOL.
If it’s a special occasion, I swap the fitbit for a diamond tennis bracelet.

My everyday jewelry is a pair of pearl studs, a gold watch, and my wedding rings. I have a bunch of other jewelry that I really never wear because I’m always in a hurry in the morning and I never take the time to think about it. My pearl earrings match everything- makes it easy!

I never take off my diamond studs. They’re pretty small, I think 1/3 of a carat so really comfortable and wearable. I do want to upgrade then eventually though. Sometimes I wear a gold necklace my Mother-In-Law gave me with a small K (my first initial) with tiny diamonds on it. I also generally wear my ering and wedding band daily.

Small diamond studs in bezel setting, I wear them almost everyday. I take them off occassionally to wear costume jewelry at work or events.
I did buy myself a beautiful classy watch but I rarely wear it.

I wear 8 rings every day, a watch, silver earrings that twist through each of the three holes in my ears, a short horseshoe necklace and an anklet. This all stays on pretty much 24/7, not even coming off to go to the lake or anything. Each of the rings is very meaningful to me. I have worn a horseshoe necklace for close to 15 years, I can’t function without my watch and I prefer the twists over studs for keeping my holes open.
On top of those, I accessorize further, daily, with at least one, sometimes two sets of big dangle earrings and usually a long statement necklace, too.
I realize this is more than most. But my standards I feel naked without and I really create outfits with big earrings and necklaces.

Aside from my set, I wear 2 Cartier Love bracelets every day. Sometimes I stack it with an Hermes Collier de Chien..

My only go to right now is my black diamond wedding band since it sits nice and low. My kid is in the yank mommys necklace!! And thrash her head into mommy’s engagement ring stage right now.
Usually I like my wedding set, and the small white topaz pendant my husband gave me for our first Christmas while we were still dating.

I’ve worn a pair of 22kt golf bangles for most of my adult life as they were a gift from my mum. My eldest son made me a silver ring in highschool that looks like something a truck ran over but I adore it as he was so proud to make it for me. I wear that a lot. Other pieces I wear depending on my mood and outfit.
I would go with a pair of nice pearl studs or diamond studs as they are both good staples to start a jewellery wardrobe.
