RHR: oval shaped cubic zirconia set in a sterling silver pavé band with milgrain beading. It’s $80 at Pandora.

My everyday jewelry is my wedding set, a watch, and diamond studs. I have a few RHRs that I alternate, but I don’t always remember to put one on. Every once in a while I’ll swap my studs for hoops – or chandelier earrings for a more formal look – but otherwise I pretty much am wearing the same jewelry 24/7.

I have a number of necklaces but they always seem to get in my way or the chains get tangled in my hair. I’d love to find a go-to everyday necklace, though, and I’m in the market for a bracelet or two. Eventually I might build up my collection of everyday earrings with more studs or pave hoops. I’m pretty picky about jewelry though, and I’d rather have a few good quality pieces. Plus I like the simplicity of grabbing the same pieces everyday.

My diamond stud earrings rarely get switched out, even though I have a healthy collection of earrings. They are just so easy, classic, comfortable, and go with everything. My wedding set of course. But other than that I change up my earrings and necklaces quite a bit.

My engagement ring and wedding band of course. I also wear my 6 bracelets 24/7 😆

gray15 :  Usually it’s my e-ring but it’s in the jeweler right now being repaired :((( Other than that I usually always wear my blue topaz necklace set in white gold, it was the first gift my fiance (then boyfriend) ever gave me and I treasure it dearly. As I’m typing I reached for my neck and confirmed it’s still always there…

Also adding an elongated pair of sterling silver hoops; stainless steel Citizen watch; sometimes I wear my Tiffany charm bracelet. And I have a silver bangle and some stacking rings on my wishlist.

techmom :  Like this?

I saw a same-sex couple wearing a complimentary set on a plane once and I’ve wanted one ever since. One man had a rose gold wedding band with a rose gold bracelet, and his husband had a silver tone (not sure the metal) band and bracelet set. Even my boyfriend leaned across the aisle to ask about the rose gold set. Honestly the prettiest wedding/couple set I’ve ever seen, they were so well coordinated and looked beautiful.

20sparklingyears :  I’m interested in your phrasing about a “RHR that doesn’t compete” with your e-ring/wedding set, since that’s something I’ve been struggling with! There are so many lovely stones and settings out there that I’d love to wear as a RHR, but I don’t want it to appear that I’m discontent with my e-ring or that the other ring is trying to upstage it somehow…so a bit lost on that end.

The one piece of jewelry that I wear every day without fail is a small gold ring with emerald and diamond stones. It was given to me when I was 5 or 6 years old by my grandfather. It’s my most cherished piece of jewelry, especially now that he’s not with us anymore.

Other than that, I usually wear gold or rose gold studs or pearl earrings. And then maybe a watch or gold bangle. And my engagement ring, of course!

moonbee :  I mean mostly, that the RHR doesn’t look too “engagement ring-y”, just my personal choice…..I tend to gravitate towards wedding looking RHR’s, so I have to watch myself on that!
