Hey there ladies!
I was curious, since I started up with Calorie Count I have lost over 3 pounds already- that is with a 700-1000cal work out regime. I am wondered however what other programs the Bees are using to lose weight. Any tricks? Moves I should know bout? As we all know, eventually in our weight loss journey all of us will hit plateaus, and I think it would be wise to exchange some tips/sites we might all have to get us over those humps when they arise. The only thing I know to do about plateaus is to change up your workout routine. I have just recently (like very recently) really started getting into controling my intake of food and as such have seen MUCH better results. So, please share with me your programs or little things you do to get yourself looking and feeling great!
😀 If I see a general census of some sort, I might make a general poll- I just need some answers first- suggestions on poll questions are welcome!

so far i’ve lost 35 pounds. I’ve been eating lots of greens and protein and staying away from sugars. I’ve also stopped eating after 6. i can have some tea or water but no food after six. which has sucked on some days cause i go to bed hungry (i know i know its not good to skip meals) but it’s been working. i’ve really upped my water intake as well. i go for a walk or do some sort of work out 4 days a week and i will do some little weigh lifting if i’m just watching tv for my arms. it’s been working but oh man….i cannot wait for that wedding cake! 10 more days!

@MrsJules10: I agree on the protiens and veggies- those have been really great in my diet (I feel loads better than I used to). I find with my program, its about extending my calorie intake throughout the day- I find allowing myself a calorie limit, planning out my meals and allowing snacks in the evening (like yogurt of fruit) allows me to stave off hunger. Do you think that might work for you? I mean I also think it would keep you from being hungry in the evenings and allow you to have your calorie intake more spread out throughout the day. Im assuming you have set times of the day that you eat?
what kind of work outs do you do regularly? I do eliptical training, speed walking, and I also do pushups, crunches- things in those family. My old trainer says that lifting your own body weight through excercises like that really benefits you- I’ve given myself a bit of a break from free weights because of it.

I have been trying to count my calories, but have not been that effective. However I did start a bootcamp work out program which is awesome! You burn a lot a calories, build muscle and its only one hour long.!

@peacockchris: hmm how many calories do you intake per day? Im just curious because calorie counter has worked really well for me so far
I have thought about boot camps! but for the money and what not, I find that working out on my own, with what I learned from my personal trainer works well too- Plus I already have signed up for swimming lessons! There goes my money for recreational fun lol.
