Our wedding is in Panama, Central America in a 4 star hotel, our price is $45.63 per person (100 person wedding) it includes the venue for 6 hours, open bar, buffet,  (they gave us 5 menus from which we have to choose 1), linens, china, flatware, chairs, tables, Dj, bridal suite, servers and bartenders.

Ours is $1200 for the ceremony and reception space, including the setup and breakdown, coordinator, tables and linens, etc. We get 5.5 hours for ceremony and reception. The catering about $80 pp, not including alcohol. Gratuity and fees are included in the pp price, which was specific to the package we selected. The pp includes 5 courses sit down, cake and cutting, 5 passed appetizers and two stations. This is in MA.

Ceremony at our venue – $2000 (ugh)

No venue rental cost for the reception, but in my contract I had to agree to a minimum spend for the evening.  Per person is about $105 for food (either appetizers/salad/meal or appetizers/passed small plates) and another $38 for alcohol including service charges.  That includes napkins but not table linens.

I have two friends who have had weddings in Charlottesville – I’m told the prices there are quite high.

$126 per person which includes the venue (three locations in one big site) Refreshments for the ceremony (outdoors), multi course food for cocktail hour and reception (SO much food, plus stations at cocktail hour), staff, linens, rentals, alcohol with bartender, desserts and wedding cake. We feel soooo lucky we found this gem. We’re in NYC and this is a unique venue in Staten Island, born and raised in NYC and I never heard of this botanical garden/cultural center but I think this is why we got so much for the price in such an expensive city.

Our venue is charging us AUD$140 per person (less for children but can’t remember that off the top of my head). This includes a 3 course meal (alternating entree, alternating main and 2 roaming dessert options), canapes during the cocktail hour (not 100% sure how many we get yet), alcohol for 5.5 hours (beer, wine and champagne only), non-alcoholic drinks for 6 hours (soft drink, tea, coffee, etc), the cost of the venue, the cost of staff (waitstaff, barstaff, kitchen staff and a coordinator), and all tables/chairs/linen(white only)/crockery/cutlery/glasses/etc. The venue will also set everything up for us – we just have to give them centrepieces, alternative linens etc by the day before and they’ll do the rest. We are planning to extend our reception for a fee, which will extend the non-alcoholic drinks by an hour and alcoholic ones by 30 minutes (alcohol service must end half an hour before the reception ends), as well as an extra round of canapes. In Australia, we don’t have gratuity or anything like that.

$132/ppl includes food, open top shelf bar, cake, ceremony fee, 5 hour space rental. 

The overall cost for my venue will be approximately  13000

Our venue is NZD149 per person which includes three plated meals with alternating mains, welcome bubbles, 4 hours of unlimited drinks, venue hire for the day. They are charging us extra $500 for service fee which is because I’m using the same venue for the ceremony and reception. The extra charge covers the cost for changeover.
