We are still early in our pregnancy, but out of curiousity when did you all start your registry?

I also didnt want the baby tub. They’re a pain in the arshhhh and the foam mat is way easier! I also didnt register for a high chair i just registered for a booster seat chair that I could just set on a chair. I think the high chairs take up way to much room. I cant really think of anything else bc I pretty much needed everythingggg!

@Lillindy: I think I did my registry right before we sent my shower invitations out

we skipped most things that were for older babies like items for solid foods, sippy cups, etc, seats…we don’t want to store everything!  we also didn’t register for a monitor, but that is bc a friend gave us their old one, and my husband wanted to “invent” his own video system (goes to our cells, etc., lol

I’m skipping the bedding, too, except for sheets and one of those breathable bumpers.  And bottle warmers and wipe warmers.  Also, bouncers, swings, etc. since I can borrow those from others.  We are registering for the monitor because once the baby isn’t at the edge of our bed, he/she will be downstairs while we’ll be up.  I also registered for a few of the older items like utensils and a snack container (cheap and small).

I think I started a registry around 20 weeks.  We’re still adding/changing but wanted to have things done by the showers.  We’re lucky enough to have two, one at 28 weeks and one at 30.  Both are a little early but we didn’t want to battle with the holiday season (and waiting till 37 weeks would completely freak me out).
