We live in a fabulous time where you can find/buy wonderful things easily online. I am finding this resource ESPECIALLY useful for wedding planning. I don’t have to run all over creation for something, I can have it delivered right to me. Now, I will probably end up buying a lot of stuff in person too, but it’s nice to know that I have the WWW as an option. But Bees, I’m curious, even in this age of technology, is there one thing that you DON’T want to purchase online? (no judgements here. this is meerly curiosity)
For me, it’s the shoes. But that is only because I have odd feet and shoes don’t always fit me the same way they might fit an average girl. I see beautiful shoes online, that I wish I could order, but I have this horrible fear of getting them and them being uncomfortable. so I will be searching for shoes in the “real” world.
my 2nd thing would be dress… I’ve known many girls that have gotten GORGEOUS dresses online, so I wouldn’t say I’m 100% against it, but the dress shopping experience was just too much fun to pass up. 🙂

A house. Some stuff you just can’t do sight unseen (and isn’t returnable) But a few years ago during the oil boom that was actually happening in our city.

CLOTHES. I ALWAYS do it and I ALWAYS return them. :/ Just sent something back today and I need to stop wasting money on shipping!
I ALWAYS buy shoes online tho, but it’s because I’ve found a brand I love and always fits me, I feel your pain OP.

I’m always hesitant to buy shoes and clothes online unless I know the brand. I know how VS bras fit me, so I buy them on clearance when I can and it’s been perfect every time. I get nervous buying anything online that I’ve never seen in person.

Haha, I like the house one! I would say my wedding dress and probably undergarments…unless it’s from a chain place (aka VS).

Bras. I absolutely have to try them on.

I wouldn’t buy anything that I have to pay to return/exchange. I buy clothes and shoes online all the time (it’s actually my primary method of shopping because I get the best deals this way), but only from companies where I can send back for free (like Zappos) or return to a brick and mortar store near where I live (like Gap, J. Crew, etc.).

So risky. Some people have fabulous experiences and some have miserable. Regardless you don’t have time to return them before the day.

I don’t actually buy online very often. I only bother with doing so if I can’t find the thing in person somewhere. I prefer to not have to pay shipping on things, and then wait for it to come in. I would probably never buy clothes online. All designers have different sizing charts, plus something that looks cute on the hanger or in the pic may not be a right fit for my body, hair style/colour, personal preferences, etc.

only buy things online that have a “history” with me (makeup, certain brands, etc) especially if I can get a better price online.
Online shopping just doesn’t have the thrill as doing it in person! I return more than I keep.

A house, a wedding dress, but the big thing for me:
SHOES! I have really narrow feet and I have a really difficult time finding shoes when I shop in stores, let alone online!

Jeans. I own so many pairs, and finding the perfect jeans means trying on alot of pairs. A size in one brand, may not be the same with the next. I purchased a pair of jeans online a few years ago and it was such a horrible fit. I purchase tons of stuff online, but wont make that mistake again lol.
