Is it just another word for country/rural? Most of the pictures have barnish backgrounds, burlap and mason jars. Quaint bygone/vintage stuff as well?
Maybe I am just daft but I see that word thrown around alot and I’m still not sure what people are looking for.
Edit: Should be in decor..

Well, for me, I am getting married in a camp, so I am calling my wedding “rustic”.
For me that means using wildflowers instead of fancy flowers, hnaging lanterns as light in the reception hall, and yes I am using mason jars in my centerpieces. I am also doing a s’more bar, and planning to do domething like this as favors (which will be on the guests plates so in a way it is like decor):
(but i want to find something that looks more like a twig to use instead of lollypop sticks to make it look more woodsy and rustic)
