@MrsToB:  +1. I hate when these kinds of posts crop up because there’s always the inevitable “in the case of a large age gap, he will die so much earlier, etc. etc.” comments. ๐Ÿ™ Nothing in life is guaranteed. I love my fiancé and I’m not willing to let fear of the unknown affect any of our future plans. We have a 27 year age gap.

14 years. I’m 30, he’s 44. We’re both of the mindset that age isn’t so much a number as it is a mind set. I’ve always been mature for my age and my Fiance, well he’s still a kid at heart. In the end it balances out and we’re super happy together. His friends give him a hard time though sometimes because he’s “robbing the cradle” but it’s all good.

I am about 2.5 years older than Fiance.  There is no real reason for this, it just happened.

@RunnerBride13:  I agree with Russian Doll 37 is not to old to have kids. We’re looking, and DH (by then) will be close to 50. lol. It will be his first foray in to having children and he’s already excited by the thought.

@musicalrose:  I agree- it is only ever too late to have kids (naturally) once you hit menopause- until then go forth and procreate.

And even afterwards you can always use a surrogate, foster or adopt!

I will be 28 in November (how did THAT happen? Whoa!), 20 days after the wedding. Paul just turned 36 last month. So…eight years and…10 months? That sounds right.
