I was curious about the same thing and posted a poll a couple of years ago..  Here are the results.

For your poll, I chose 1.5 ct but my stone is actually 1.3ct. I figured it was closer to 1.5 than 1 ct, if even by a little bit.

I have a feeling that the number will be high for sure! I feel like many people on here have very large and fancy/expensive diamonds, but what I’ve also noticed is that a lot of people who frequent this site are pretty wealthy and planning extravagant weddings (hence why they want help and advice with planning stuff!) It makes sense, and there’s nothing wrong with that either! Just an observation! But I do feel like it’s certainly skewed… I don’t know anybody in real life (besides myself and my moissy) with even a one carat center stone (but then, most people I know IRL have diamond rings, and a 1 carat diamond is VERY expensive by the standards of my social circle!)

Mine is a one carat equivalent moissanite, which I adore <3

My center diamond is .60 Smaller than most I’m sure, but I love it. 🙂

citizenerased14 :  I think that there are a lot of people with smaller e-rings too, but that the people who are more likely to post pictures/stats of their e-rings are people with large sized e-rings.
