Its going to cost me about $100 for each service, and maybe more if I get false eyelashes applied. So I don’t think your quote is outrageous. Especially with airbrush makeup, that tends to cost more. And my trial will be a little bit less than $200, since I’m going to their salon for that. It all depends where you’re located. Bigger city areas tend to be more expensive (I’m in the Philadelphia area). They also tend to book up early!

My hair is going to run about $60 and my make-up will be $55.  Trials for both were $40.

I really struggled to organise anyone for this. I was screwed around with trials and people. I finally found a group that was recommended, and it all went smoothly. But I am paying more than I wanted, but the girls are great.

It’ll be just shy of $400. This includes trial, travel cost and a product for touch ups.

Around $80 for just me. I don’t remember the exact numbers for each, though. They’re blocking off the entire salon for my BMs and I for three hours. 🙂

My hair and makeup total is $170. This includes travel, lashes, and trial fees ($35 hair and $25 makeup). I have really long hair, like all-the-way-down-my-back long, so I thought $60 was a great price for what I want done. I’m not getting airbrush makeup because I really have to have full coverage and I don’t feel comfortable with airbrush for my skin.

@princessggg:  my day of is free because my makeup artist is my cousin and godmother. I think her going rate is around what you are paying OP, but she is sooo worth every penny! The airbrush makeup is literally amazing and I can’t wait for her to do my makeup for the engagement session. I think she is charging 50 for each bm of mine and then my other cousin is charging 50 for hair for each bm. Its the one thing I would have been more than happy to splurge on, but I’m used to always having them to do my hair and makeup.

More than anyone else here has mentioned yet. By a lot. UGH. But no one else in my area does hair/makeup on site (or is nearby) that is OPEN on Sundays. I saved a lot of money on a Sunday wedding, but this isn’t one of those ways.

I told myself that my hair and makeup was going to be one of my splurges. Just because your wedding photos last forever and  I wanted everything to be perfect. That being said, my trial was $100 and my day of cost is going to be $150. It’s quite a bit more than I had anticipated on spending, but the girl that I amusing is.absolutely incredible. The price also includes false lashes.

I think with travel and airbrush, that quote sounds about right. Please post pics when you get a trial! 🙂

@MrsFutureG:  Me too 🙁  I paid $350 for hair and makeup plus $200 for the trial plus 20% tip on the total, IIRC.  It was worth every penny, though.

@princessggg:  That sounds about right to me.

I am super lucky with this bit of wedding prep! I ws looking at a group that would come on site for about $375. BUT then my cousin told me she would do my hair & make up for me for free! The best part? She does the hair & makeup for the Princesses at Disney World!!! YAY!
