    A lot of people seem to think halos are trendy, and I don’t agree with that at all, but when I think classic I think solitaire.

    I have a halo which I feel will be timeless, however I think the most classic setting is the solitare.

    @the_future_mrs:  A 3 stone ring. Generally the center stone is larger than the two sidestones and represents the present. The side stones represent the past and the future.

    i think solitaires with side diamonds are classic and timeless. even if it’s not your style, you can’t deny its beauty.

    I will say, I love my halo.  I think however that the Tiffany solitaire is the classic engagement ring.

    Though I would prefer a solitaire, I really love the 3 stone style! Future Sister-In-Law just got engaged and her 3-stone is gorgeous! I love the symbolism aswell

    Timeless and classic = solitaire  (RB, 6 prong) IMO.
