I don’t really wear make-up (except for mascara and gloss) but I have some sun spots and was thinking about using some foundation.
Can you recommend me some?
Is mineral foundation better!
Thank you and have a lovely Friday!!!!!!!!!!

I found Lancome foundations to be my favorite. I don’t wear much foundation in the summer but tried “Revlon Photo Ready” last and was really impressed. I used it around the holidays and it looked great in photos. It has a bit of a sheen to it too, which really brightens your face.
I am not a fan of mineral makeup, this might sound strange but I notice it gets everywhere and if I wear a black shirt it will dust off during the day and I was always wiping it off and could never put it on over an outfit in the morning cause it would get eveywhere. This is the powder version of mineral makup that uses a kabuki brush. Just my opionion, I hear some love!

I use both, sometimes a sheer liquid foundation and sometimes minerals. I like the Ulta minerals line. If you want a nice natural look, mineral is good for that.

I use Bare Minerals and love it. I don’t have acne so I don’t need heavy coverage, I just want to even out my skintone and this does the job.
I have always wanted to try the Revlon Photo Ready foundation, but I’ve never liked liquid foundation on my face so who knows if I ever will.

It really depends on your skin type ( dry, oily or combination). Do you have acne? How much coverage do you need (light, medium or full)? Do you have sensitive skin? Depending on those you will choose different types of formulations.
I’m combination. I love Bare Minerals and NYX HD Foundation.

I love bare minerals for every day. If i want a bit more coverage, I use revlon colorstay, which supposedly is the same thing as Makeup forever or mac

I use Bare Minerals. Their foundation isn’t one size fits all, they have different types for different skin and tons of shades. It never looks caked on and it’s pretty flawless if you do it right. Recently I started using the cleansing facewash, the moisturizer, the eye cream and a firming eye treatment because my eyes are puffy in the mornings. It’s been working wonders for my skin! I also have the foundation primer but I only use it for special occasions. Anyway my whole makeup collection (besides eye makeup) is bare minerals and I can’t recommend it more!

Bare Minerals! I have been using it for 6 years. I change all my other makeup and products frequently but have never found a better foundation (I have tried many). I have great skin to begin with, but I get daily complements on my skin/ makeup. It looks very natural and blends well. I also love thier faux tan bronzer.

I also love Bare Minerals! I tried the revlon photoready and didnt like it. It seemed very thick and cakey to me. I would recomend going to sephora if you have one, they can recommend the best type for you and also give you samples of a few different ones, which is nice because then you dont waste money on something you dont like when you get it home.
Good luck! let us know what you decide!

I like Revlon Colorstay for full coverage or ELF mineral foundation for light coverage (a lot of people compare this to the Bare Minerals) or days where my skin is oily. I love the texture & coverage (light/medium coverage, not too dry) of Clinique foundations, but I have a hard time matching them to my skintone & usually have to mix them with something else.

I love MAC Studio Sculpt. It is hydrating and has great coverage that lasts all day!
