My potential dress has a full tulle skirt, and corset bodice that is adorned with swarovski rhinestones … most of the rhinestones are clear, but a few clusters are with silver.
The sample model has French Macrame. (only on the bodice) and I want it lined … I think I’m going to pick duchess satin or something.
What do you think? Please give advice and opinions!

The best lace for your wedding dress is the lace you like best! Nothing more to it! Look around at the different types that are out there and pick what you like best (that’s within your budget).

Rosy’s right, go with what you (and your budget) love! There are so many different types of lace, I’m sure no one at your wedding will be able to differentiate between them. One kind that I’ve noticed to be popular among wedding dresses is Alençon lace. That’s what my dress is made of and it’s lined in silk charmeuse (which is similar to duchess, I think).
Anyway, the dress sounds lovely! :o)
