May-September

Depends where you are thinking of getting married (inland or by the sea)…I currently live in Madrid and it gets soooo hot in August and is not reccommended wedding season. However south spain would be perfect in August because you have the beach and coastal breeze, which Madrid doesn´t have.

If you post meant time of day…most weddings in Spain are evening weddings, I imagine Italy would be the same (during the day is too hot).

However north Europe is cooler and you can’t rely on the weather as much. UK weddings are during the day and normally July/August time…however it is likely it still could rain!

If it were my wedding:

May-mid June

September-October

Christmastime.

I got married in Barcelona in October and the weather was perfect. Note that if you have July or Aug wedding, the flights and accomodations are way more expensive since most Europeans take holiday in August. I would go for Sept/Oct – the weather should be still warm and the flights/accomodations more palatable in price for guests.

I agree with September, perfect weather during that month in Italy!

Confirm: May is the go-to-month. Depending on where you are, you will be fine in June and September as well. If you are in the south, I would not recommend July and August, too hot.
