Aside from our 15 year age difference our biggest difference is that he is a huge extrovert & I’m an introvert. It causes friction sometimes when I *really* don’t want to go out but he really needs to see a friend perform at a bar. However, ususally it’s more of us both pushing the other past their boundaries a little. He gets me to go to big shows at the bar with everyone we know & their mama, and I get him to go camping in the middle of nowhere with our closest friends. It works out well, I think if I had married an introvert I’d never leave the house!

We actually mesh together really well, but the main difference is that Fiance is a nice, approachable person… and I am not, lol.
He is friendly and courteous to everyone, but I’m usually very stiff around someone unless if I’ve known them for a long time. He’s fairly easy-going and doesn’t develop strong opinions whereas I am super Type A and can get really passionate about what i believe.

@Swizzle: Right!? I used to be like how often do you people really have to see each other?!

@soontobemrsm11: I am like you- I want to know WHY for everthing. My old boss hated it- even though when I did ask why, it was always with appropriate respect. He wanted people who just looked at him like an authoritative figure and accepted it. I ended up leaving.
My Fiance mostly just accepts thingTs- but thankfully, I don’t think that we argue over that in particular. The biggest difference? I get upset about things and he doesn’t- but it doesn’t make us argue- usually.
Really, for the most part- the only time we argue is when I am PMS-sy….because I am just a raging bitch :/

When around friends I have a loud mouth, cuss like a trucker and don’t give a flyin F. When around my elders, coworkers, or people I don’t know well I am very reserved. He NEVER cares who hears him lol I guess it was because my momma was a small town Iowa farm girl and my daddy was a backwoods trucker from Kentucky. Got the best of ’em in me I suppose.

We have two: My husband is very laid-back,doesn’t like to make plans, go-with-the-flow kind of guy.
I NEEEEEED a plan. So we knock heads sometimes over that.
Our second is that he’s really avoidant of conflict, and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty (excpet with family, I don’t do family conflict). If there’s something that needs sorting out (i.e. insurance company being shady, somebody taking advantage or being dishonest, etc) I’m the one going balls-out to get things taken care of. Which is fine, hubs finds it sexy.
