It was like $60 for my dress alone when I had it done a few weeks ago.

Try the store where you bought your dress.  They should do the dress for free.

I didn’t get my crinoline steamed (did it at home by handing it in the steamy bathroom) but the salon I bought my dress and veil from pressed them for free the week of the wedding.

I was quoted from $50-120 at two different dry cleaners in my town. And that was their base price, it could go up from there! I was astonished at that prices. My seamstress ended up steaming my dress for $40. And she’s going to touch it up the week before the wedding at no charge. I would definitely call around and check with the store where you bought your dress.

My seamstress only charges $20.

My seamstress didn’t charge for it – Probably bc I was doing so many other things with it. They even offered to re-steam it if it wrinkles before Saturday 🙂

We put a garment steamer on one of our registries (around $35), and a thoughtful relative got it for my shower (as I was hoping would happen). We’ll be using that to do our own steaming for the wedding stuff (and, since I detest ironing, it’ll be nice to have afterward!). Maybe look at doing that, if you’re comfortable DIYing the steaming?

The bridal salon I bought my dress from does it for free.

The best thing to do is call some different places to get their prices. I got quite a wide range, from $50-$100.
