I don’t think there are any real differences…just depends on when you receive it.  ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have a ring that is my anniversary ring.  It could easily be an engagement ring.  And frequently I will find the same ring listed online under both “wedding band” and “anniversary ring”.  It’s just a marketing thing IMO.

The difference is just the “excuse” to buy the ring. ๐Ÿ™‚

there is no difference, it’s just marketing.

It’s weird, but when I’m browsing online I typically go to the anniversary bands instead of the wedding bands. Not sure what it is but I am typically disappointed with almost EVERY company’s selection of wedding bands. I have to go to their anniversary rings for that little something I like. CONSPIRACIES! ๐Ÿ˜‰ But the ladies answered your question really well – it’s a straight up marketing ploy and excuse to buy more jewelery. Not to say I wouldn’t like an excuse to. ๐Ÿ™‚
