My DH absolutely had to have everybody he knows at the wedding. He could not grasp the idea of leaving somebody out at all. It had to be ALL his family and ALL his friends and every neighbour and co-worker he has ever worked with. He fought with me for weeks to add more and more people to the list. I had to show him the $$$$$ numbers to snap him out of it 🙂

@whitefuzzy:  LOL omg!!

Fiance couldn’t figure out why I wouldn’t let him wear a – and I swear this is legit – DISCO BALL TUXEDO. He only suggested it for the reception, but really?? It’s pretty horrifying in action!

…Pyro.  Like a full-on flamefest when we’re announced Sealed he’s bringing it up at venue meetings and I see them being horrified lol. I told him to at least wait until the second meeting to bring up the possibility of burning the place down Wink

Some of his best are:

What the heck is a theme?

Can the wedding colors be black and red?  That would be so cool.

Why can’t I go with you when you try on wedding dresses?

What’s a grooms cake?

Do I have to wear a tux?

the list goes on and on lol 🙂

@whitefuzzy:  That made me actually laugh out loud. What an idea!

My fiance has had a few suggestions …

First, he wanted to have our first dance to “Dragula” by Rob Zombie … But the idea that takes he cake is that he and his best man dress up like Harry and Lloyd (in their blue and orange tuxes) and have a cane fight down the aisle.

I, for one, would love to see that … Just not at my wedding!

🙂 Gotta love ’em!

This happened in the beginning stage of planning our wedding. I wanted the WOW factor so I found a beautiful red dress and I was so excited. I picked out red flowers and silver tablecloths, chargers, etc and was going to tell him everything but I decided to ask him what color was he thinking of.

Well, he said “I HATE RED” and want pink all shades of pink. I dont care what kind of flowers but they must be pink. I think I must have shrunk two sizes when I thought about the dress I picked out and the lovely Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses.

Then he said what color do you think babe? I was speechless because I drew a blank as my hopes just went out the window. I said we can go with the pink that is a good idea.

He has a problem with telling people no and all I mean all of his military friends have invited themselves to our wedding. I told him that I dont think it is a good idea we have to cut the list down. He said dont worry about it not everybody will get an invitation or know the exact date. Yeah right!!!!

Well, I got it down from 500 to 250 but I am still nervous because I think it is going to be a complete fiasco the way he has conducted this whole guest list. I think he should wait until he is home and find out who will be home to attend the wedding.

JUST A THOUGHT WHO AM I ???HAHAHA

As we were discussing a book-themed wedding. my SO, who flips the f*** out every time he hears people spend more than a few hundred on their wedding, made the following suggestion:

Him- “Oh! For favors we could give people Hitchhiker’s Guide… and my friend’s book… and one of your favorite books.”
Me- “We’re planning on having 200 people at our wedding.”
Him- “And?”
Me- “And you want to give them EACH $20 worth of books?!”

This thread has me cracking up!

My Fiance has mentioned on multiple occassions that he wants to show up to the wedding riding a horse with a lasso!

He is from NYC, we are getting married in a church, and what would he lasso…me?

He was also very confused when he went shopping for my engagement ring and thought he was supposed to get one for himself too!  I thought this was adorable!  Love him!
