I am probably in the minority here, I have the biggest SALT tooth. I don’t like sweets really! When I am trying to eat well it is so hard because I salt everything to my veggies, meats, and carbs…so when I eat those same things without the salt I HATE IT. I know it is really awful to add the additional sodium to my diet, and currently there isn’t any salt in the house for me to add to my meals…I STILL CRAVE IT LIKE CRAZY!

I put junk food… but I really mean all the indulgent yummy restaurant foods! Fried, cheesey, noodles/pasta/pizza, they are all really hard for me to miss out on! I try to do moderation but sometimes I fail LOL

Yes I know what you mean. I love eating out and I always go in saying I’ll get a salad and then one look at the menu and I change my mind!

Haha! Yup, that is my thing too, portions. Suuuure it’s healthy, but doesn’t help if you have a huge plate full.

I’ve been trying to do “doggy bags” when we go out, so as to control portoons. Though, honestly, I have trouble checking portions at home.

Omg totally. I think I’m pretty good at eating healthy most of the time, but I take too many servings. Even desserts and sweets shouldn’t be too horrible for you, but it’s hard to just have a couple of bites of that chocolate cake or just a small scoop of ice cream! Urgh.

@WeddingTime18: I was going to say Starbucks, but even when I’m on a health kick I manage to incorporate Starbucks in there somewhere.
Generally I just try to make better choices when I’m there- a sugar-free vanilla latte with cream or half and half instead of milk and no wipped cream, for example. I make it work.
For me, the most difficult thing to avoid are breads and pastas, by far.

definitely sweets or starbucks, but i don’t give up my coffees! I just get them in a tall, made with soy or skim milk, half sweet, and no whip, so yummy still!

@WeddingTime18: Sweets- I love any and all dessert (except anything with candied citrus peel- yuck!).
