I love bling, *but* the largest solitaire I’d wear is a one carat. I might up it a bit for total carat weight, however…depending on the look. My engagement ring is a size six and a half, but it spins a little and I might have it resized. Anyhow, I have a .50 solitaire and I find that it’s plenty for me. I always thought I’d prefer more, but my ideal is anywhere from .25 to .75 now. I’ve read about “shrinking” (lol), but I don’t see it changing.

My finger is 4.75….nothing would be too big!!

I honeslty wouldn’t want any larger than the 1ct i have. With daily wear and getting it caught in my gloves etc etc, i just wouldn’t want to deal with it.
But i am totally not much of a blinging person. My solitaire is plenty sparkly for me.

The smallest carat in the world be perfect for me. If I remember correctly mine’s a 1/4 of a carat and while I love it I still would have preferred a smaller carat.

@lilsweetie: I have a size 7 finger. I could rock 5 cararts with no problem.

@lilsweetie: 5.5 finger, I probably wouldn’t wear larger than 3ish carats every day. I’d love to own larger diamonds but I doubt I’d wear them as often.

My finger size is 7. The stone we picked out is .7 carats, they showed me a few larger but they just didn’t seem right to me. I couldn’t imagine anything over 1.25.

I do think I’m in the minority but .75 carat. Size 6 ring. I was married before, and that’s what he proposed with. I loved it, a heart shaped solitare, but it did get in the way sometimes (pockets, sleeping, etc). It’s annoyances were just little enough it was more happy reminders (at the time lol).
I’m a tomboy and wanted a 24/7 ring this time that wasn’t at all pointy/stabby/catchy on things. I’ve got a sideways set marquise .47 carat and it’s absolutely perfect. I didn’t even think I liked marquise but we were given his mom and dad’s ring (which his mom had reset with plenty of gold) to reset how we wanted. And did this:
Size is great and all, and I can really appreciate big rings on other womens’ hands, but not mine!

I would love a huge blingy ring, but for everyday wear I would probably go a max of 3cts, but I would be more comfortable with something around 2

Probably a 3, but idk that might be too big. I’ve never had a chance to try one on haha.

I think a 3 ct would be my max, on a size 8 finger.

I personally prefer the dainty look of a smaller diamond, so I’d say maximum 0.7 carat for me. My finger size is 5.

2 carat. I’m a sz 4:) hoping one day to have a solid 2 ct center!

Probably a one carat, max. My finger size is 5 and I have fairly small, delicate hands and don’t like the look of big rocks on them. I am also on the clumsy side and am constantly flinging my hands into things. I love them on other women, just not me!
