Hey there! I am trimming up my wedding registries as our invitations went out recently. We’ve lived together to a while, so we have all of the towels we could ever need. ) We still have a number of kitchen and home items on our registry, but I want to ask you ladies what the wierdest/most awesome thing on your wedding registry is. 🙂
We’re registered on Amazon, so we can really havce anything we want on there (the possibilities are endless! XD)
We have a few oddballs that I am really glad are there. We have some ring holders for each room of the house. We have this amazing two person sleeping bag (we’re camping for our honeymoon), and these onion goggles (poor fi instantly retreats anytime I chop onions. He’s such a wimp. 😀 Not only do I think these are hillarious, I tihnk he’ll use them. :D)
So ladies and gents, what are some of the not so obviously wedding registry items you have on your lists? Any amazing oddballs that you can’t believe other couples don’t think of?

Oh come on. Surely one of you lovely lady’s has somethin at LEAST as good as the Chum Buddy

Fiance put a SodaStream machine on there. It’s not that weird but not something everyone registers for. We’ll see if we actually get it.

Game of Thrones letter opener that looks like a sword… oooo I hope we get it!!

@Asia: I really want that sleeping bag. That is awesome.
We haven’t done our registry yet, but I keep telling Fiance that I really want to put some nice power tools on the registry. We own a house together and we already have most of the kitchen stuff. But power tools would be really useful on some upcoming projects around the house. I have a friend getting married who put high-end camera lenses on the registry. I don’t think anybody will touch them because they are way expensive, but I thought it was a neat idea at least.

@GeorgiaBride5: I actually do think that’s fairly unique (it’s not a towel or a blender ~_^) and it’s probably personalized to you guys as a couple! 🙂 I love it!
@elysion: HAHAHAHAHA! I love this. 😀 Ours has a $2k gaming laptop on it. 😀 No one will buy it, obviously, but it had to be there. XD Something to do with your nerdy habits is awesome!
@bleusteel: Best sleeping bag ever, right? If we don’t get it, I’m ordering it. We will not be spending our honeymoon in seperate bags (unless you meant the chum buddy, which is also incredible XD)! And OMG! Power tools! I almost completely forgot them! You just saved me! 😀

Extendable marshmallow forks are pretty sweet – really hoping someone snaps those up.
And funnily enough, the very first item bought off the registry was the board game Cards Against Humanity, which may be the most offensively awesome game known to man.

I really want to put a table saw on ours…and Fiance even suggested that we do. LOL We’ll see, though. It’s almost $600 and I doubt anyone will buy it for us. I love the site ana-white.com and have pinned all sorts of things I want to make for our house!
I’ve also wanted an iPad for years and Fiance suggested I put one of those on there. Probably not going to do that, though.
I also have a really awesome iron picked out. I sew most of my own clothes, and the one I have is several years old, so I figure it will probably die in the next couple…

@lolot: We have probably 10 german board games on our registry. 😀 I am so there with you.
@LadyPeace: How cute is that basket? It looks like an old school beach tote with diy picnic materials, but it’s all made for you! XD So cool! This is the basket on our registry
I neeeeeeds it! DX I wouldn’t say this about any other item, but I’ll be kind of sad if (when) we don’t get it. 🙂 I can’t justify the expense of getting it ourselves. Womp Womp. But I want it for life, and our honeymoon.
@DomesticDiva: We have a mix of prices on our registries. Most things come in under $30. However, we do have some higher priced items. The way I see it, people can just chuckle at our silliness, or maybe instead of a whole side of the famil (my mom’s side, or my dad’s side, for example) all getting us small gifts, they’d want to all pitch in to get one awesome gift. ~_^ You never know. I’m letting them decide (or they can just show up sans gift! I really do care more about seeing them there, honest)

I registered for this water pitcher that has this insert in the midde with little slices in it so you can put fruit (i.e. lemons) in it and it infuses the water!! I’m so excited because I love lemon in my water but I hate when the seeds and the pulp!!

@Asia: If you’re going camping you should totally put the ENO Hammock on there!
If I had an Amazon registry that would definitely be on mine because I’ve been wanting one for awhile.

We registered at Think Geek, so that whole list is uncommon.
That is more of a fun thing for our close friends, it only has liek 10 items on it. We have a “real” registry at bed bath and beyond for normal things. We don’t expect grandma to get online and order us a Han Solo in Carbonite ice cube tray.

We registered for a skull and crossbones ice cube tray. We got it. It’s awesome.

@Asia: We haven’t registered yet, but I’m sure we’ll have a variety of prices in the items we choose, too. I love me some kitchen gadgets.
Love that you registered for a ton of board games! Which ones?
