@gogogiraffes: That is kinda awesome. I’d totally buy that for someone I knew if they wanted it. Hell, I might go buy it for me while out running errands tomorrow!

Our impractical ones were a telescope (my choice) and what my Fiance refers to lovingly as a wamlette maker – this wierd machine that can make waffles on one side and omlettes on the other side at the same time (obviously FI’s choice LOL)

an obscenely expensive handmade cashmere comforter—just because we (okay, well I) loved it and we could buy it on a discount after the wedding with the completion plan. BUT his parents got it for us as an engagenent present. I was so happy and felt so blessed they got it for us. But we can’t use it until after the wedding—when we finally move in together..it literally sits in my room taunting me to be used…it look so warm!

@Looopy:  Love it! Me and my fiance registered at REI and he wants a kayak SO BAD.  Our one impractical item is hiking boots for our dog, but that is actually practical since he goes hiking with me all the time and he’s torn up pads of his paws before on hikes.
