I always catch him watching kids movies, which I have nothing against. Its just funny that he tries to do it secretly. The last one was Wall-E a couple of weeks ago

My Fiance would never admit to this to anyone but me, but there was one time early in our relationship that I feel asleep while we were watching a Lifetime christmas movie….one of their really cheesy ones….and he continued to watch the whole thing, all the way through the credits!

Okay, to be fair Fiance doesn’t feel any shame whatsoever in his taste in movies. He made me watch “Showgirls” when we first got together because he loves how terrible this movie is. Let’s forget about the subject matter and the gratuitous sex scenes and any feelings about strippers and lap dances…this movie is flat out the absolute worst movie in moviedom. The plot is ridiculous. The acting is bad AT BEST. The dialogue sounds like it was written by three different writers working in separate rooms without ever coordinating with one another. Fiance admits to loving this movie. Granted, he loves it exactly because it’s so terrible, but still.

I love that he loves to watch any movie and love/hate it based on his own experience rather than what he should be feeling.

Days of Thunder

yep Days of Thunder at first I thought he was talking about Top Gun but he clarified it was the movie he drives in not the flying one.  Soooo sad, the poor man regrets that day I found out his little secret.

Yay for more girls who don’t like The Notebook! haha

I think FI’s biggest guilty pleasure movies are those uber-masculine series like Die Hard and The Expendables. He considers himself a feminist and a bit of a movie snob so I honestly think those would be the ones he’d be most embarassed to admit liking.

Oh goodness. Pitch Perfect, Bring it On, Sweet Home Alabama, Stick It… One time we were in Blockbuster and he quietly asked an associate where Stick It would be located and the associated shouted across the store to the front desk. SO declared loudly, “IT’S FOR HER!” …It wasn’t. I had NO interest in renting Stick It. LOL

Pretty sure he liked the first Sex and the City movie. I know it’s not a movie, but DH won’t admit to secretly liking The Bachelor.

Not really ashamed to admit it, like at all, but if he was, it’d be Dirty Dancing. We’re actually thinking of having a fake out for our first dance with the first couple of seconds of “The Time of My Life” as a joke.
