I have yet to be called a bridezilla by anyone… at least with any seriousness. However, I was called a “Godzilla bride,” if that counts? When I found my wedding dress, there was a rush to buy the last dress on clearance in my size, and my Mother-In-Law ended up helping us and paying for the dress. My nmom was pissed that I didn’t let her buy the dress she wanted me to wear, and convinced herself that my Mother-In-Law was out to get her, so she decided to harass her and instigate a bunch of drama on facebook to punish her. When I put my foot down and told her she needed to knock it off, she called me a godzilla bride, insisting that she has the right to say and do whatever she wants (without consequence.) Fi still calls her Momthra for it.

beebay :  WE didn’t drop them as friends. They simply stopped being a part of our lives as some friends do. The husband left the army and the wife went to grad school out of state. And no, they didn’t know about us exchanging their gift.

megrays :  Sorry to hear that. It sucks, doesn’t it? Why can’t people just let us have the wedding we want?

Yeah, they’ll get over it. I’m sure they won’t even miss them once the dancing & good times start. ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ

The last wedding I went to had literally a whole room for cookies & as you can imagine there was a lot left over. They were pretty much throwing boxes of cookies at guests as we left. At that point, I decided a cookie table would be a hard no for my wedding.

brittnamrogo :  I’ve heard too type b brides be called a ‘bridechilla’ which I guess can be frustrating for some people? I feel like I bend over backwards sometimes to try and relieve any stress for my bridesmaids. They have had to tell me to stop paying for things and tolet them handle stuff!
