What is the point of a Mrs. Box?

I purchased mine for the sole purpose of having a nice prop for wedding photos. The one I purchased conveniently holds two rings so it will hold both of our wedding bands.

I should add that I am eloping at a destination so I won’t have as many accents or details to photograph on my day and carrying a small box is easy.  Check out Mrs Box website https://themrsbox.com/ and their instagram to see styled photo shoots.  They are very pretty.

Mine was a gift from the jeweler. I keep my ring in at night.

I wanted one for detail pictures but decided it was a waste of money because I’ll never use it.

I plan on purchasing one for a cute addition to my wedding photos. I’m getting a “generic” version because there is no way that I am spending $70+ on a box but it looks just as lovely.

I didn’t know these even existed, I learned about them today!

For photos, my photographer had no problem positioning them how she wanted.

I don’t get it. And I usually like small stupidly expensive things. I never take my rings off so wouldn’t have a purpose for it. I kind of understand for a prop for photos but the cheaper ones look the same to me.

It’s just a ring box.  They first became popular with wedding photographers, and a lot were buying them to keep in their bag for detail photos but more and more our clients are buying them on their own.

They’re beautiful for ring shots, especially with wedding details, but there’s a knockoff etsy seller that looks just as good for way less.

So, so pretty! Indefensibly expensive but I bought one in the fug of my newly engaged ring obsession. I’m also very susceptible to small objects of desire.

I thought I’d put my ring in it at night sometimes but I wear it so it hasn’t been used in ages. So yes it ended up being an expensive photo prop! However I plan to reconfigure our bedroom sometime so I can have a dressing table again. When this happens my Mrs Box will sit looking pretty on there, so …. a very expensive ornament! 😂

I know. I’m a fecking idiot.

I was totally looking at them just as a cute ring holder, but the original box for my ring was unexpectedly lovely, so no need.
